They really didn't show enough in that trailer, it was to short.
On a side note, really looking forward to The Last of Us.

It looks kinda cool. I just hope it isn't plagued of escort-missions like RE4. If the girl isn't a useless burden like Ashley, then maybe i'll be interested.

Okay I see people are missing the context.  From Bioware's perspective it is a new Franchise for them to be working on since they have never touched it before.  Yes for Team Ninja Metroid was a new franchise for them to be working on.

They never said it was a new franchise for them, they said they are working on a new franchise, if they really ment what you are saying, then they did a poor job explaining it and getting people excited.

Then they must have done a poor job explaining it since that is the only way I can see the use of "New Franchise" to be valid...... unless they have something else up there sleeves...... <Shifty eyes>  :wizard:

It's a great gun and simple to maintain/handle... I would pay 50 dollars extra for it to be in the collector edition signed by the team.

So who's really making this game, Victory or Bio? Since when does Bio make RTS games anyway this comes as a shock to me. Bioware is officialy my fav developer now.

just to throw it out here...

this isn't really developed by bioware, it's made by Victory Games, however, recently, EA changed their names and made them part of BioWare, just so they could slap BW's name in the box

*rolls eyes*

What, you don't find 'drag select two dozen of your biggest tanks, click other side of map and hope your objective is along the way' pulse-pounding or electrifying?

This

 • Ever-Evolving Experience — Enhance your game with an expanding array of downloadable content. From maps and units to factions, campaigns, and more, the fight against terrorism is deeper than ever.

In other words, lots of micro dlc.

Anyway, bring on modern total war.

Confirmed factions are, GLA, EU, and more than likely China since they basically won the war in ZH.

Ah yes, a new game from "Bioware". We have dismissed those claims.

So if I roll Paragon will there be instances I can avoid fighting altogether and broker a peaceful solution?

That part worries me, given its DLC and not an expansion meaning they WILL be doing one of two things either have a harsh anti modding policy or will be holding alot of assets back from the main game.

Also mystified how the EU can be in it, given they were smashed by the GLA, and later on forced under Chinese Occupation while America stays to the America's. Oh well... CNC 3-4 @_@

EA studio with BioWare's name slapped on it. Meh, pretty ambivalent about the whole thing. May be good and it may not. I've kinda fizzled on the RTS genre for a while, preferring Grand Strategy instead.

When BioWare/EA acquires the Age of Empires or Age of Mythology IP, then we'll talk.

Also, I find it funny BioWare doing a C&C game, what with all the comparisons to Westwood since the EA buyout.

The same thoughts crossed my mind right away watching it. The idiology and comparrison between what EA did to Westwood when Westwood handled C&C and how Bioware have been lined up to be the new Westwood quite literally by being absorbed into EA like Westwood and now made to continue the C&C brand like Westwood.

Only one stage is missing so far in the timeline and thats the fall of Westwood will it befall Bioware because of EA.

Interesting that it's a PC exclusive. I know RTS games don't work too well on consoles, but I wouldn't think that would stop EA.

Forget about the campaign, the real question is whether the game will have same sex love interests. Also, will Tali be recruitable?

This makes no sense. I thought BioWare and EA have turned their backs on the PC crowd. Slaped them in the face and stabbed them in the back for the brain dead console kiddie crowd...
