Polite... You do realize he ran past 2 sets of enemies that he was meant to fight, as evidenced by Vega telling him to take cover, was likely on RPG mode difficulty, and that there was an entire other half of the level both before and after this right?

This was a trailer, at the VGAs.(a hive of scum and villany that devalues all the strides gaming has made towards being accepted as an art form) If you ask me they should've just shown the Thresher Maw v Reaper, give no uncertain terms about what the real show is because they clearly misrepresented the parts of the level that were ran past.

Oh, and it's a video game so literally EVERYTHING is scripted.

Hmm, did anyone notice the Reaper repeatedly missing Shepard with its lasers? Not to mention threshy? I mean a hyper-intelligent advanced machine race who'd wiped out countless civilizations found itself, unable to pinpoint Shepard accurately, nor the huge ginormous threshy, but for some reason is able to destroy a small turian spacecraft flying at high speed...Oh well.

Ok I think one thing needs to be made clear: Mass Effect 3 is a story about complete galatic war, you know what happens in wars? Wars aren't fought by people walking around and chatting up random people at any given point, no when wars are fought there are moments of action in ME3's case gun fire, explosions, etc. Aside from that it has been confirmed that ME3 will have better and more refined rpg elements than ME1 or ME2, but if you don't believe that why bother coming to this website just to spew your arrogance? If you really dislike ME3 that much just cancel your preorders and do something else.

Trailer was epic, game is looking great and I love Mass Effect to death just the only thing bothering me and I'm not sure if its bothering anyone else cause I haven't seen a thread on it is the Shepard animation at the end of the trailers, in the beginning it was fine but its kinda getting a little lame, I loved the original Mass Effect Logos with the swift music and the horizon revealing Mass Effect title

The lighting and textures on the thresher maw are amazing compared to the one you fight in ME2.
