Now, where are the people who asked for more emotional trailers and romances, huh?

Plus it's not like Shepard could just stop and wait on them. He was kinda busy: that Reaper had taken a real liking to him, and it's very hard to ignore such love.Mesina2 wrote...

Very excited about Generals 2. The first was my favourite among all the C&Cs
Kinda strange how they cut the ME3 trailer together, though. It looked like they fight/run their way through to the Reaper and then Shepard tells them to just go back xD
Well, Shepard is that good.

Gotta make the trailer acceptable for kids... Getting too graphic with the physical contact is a bit much for the kiddies.

That's what Tuchanka's sun has always looked like. It was the same in ME2:

BTW, this really needed Grunt saying:

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the REAL reason Shepard was so eager to leave.AdmiralCheez wrote...

And the marketing continues to suck.
To anyone with a brain and open eyes, yes ME3's marketing certainly does.
EA making Bioware reanimate the C&C series they (EA) killed? This is too hilarious. Way to go and sell yourselves short and out on every turn here, Bioware. Just look at you now.
At least Bethesda kept their game as what it's has been, and what it's supposed to be. Yay Skyrim.
well if you hate them so much now why are you here? people like you complain and moun about how much it sucks and you contuine to hang around like a bad smell

It wasnt very Mass Effect. More of just a dirty shooter using sci fi as a backdrop. No spaciness, no strange world, no sleek shiny technology, no emphasis on lore and characters and mysterious conversations with synth beats getting your heart rate up, no fog horn sunrise at the end. On the bright side, it is a graphical improvement. Too bad it is all shooter perspective marketing so I can't see the worlds and people and cities that capture the Mass Effect universe where it started. Just a bunch of gritty world-in-flames scenes.
That's pretty much it. I couldn't quite place exactly why I was so unimpressed, but that was it: it could easily have been any shooter game ever produced and I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference.
the problem is that it's getting to that point where studios are now finding hard to make innotive shooters or rpg's now because ether it has already been done before or Fps or rpg games are getting close to the limit on being fresh and new, if you know what i mean. i disagree with it not being mass effect.

Also:
In Mass effect it takes fifty marines to take down a tresher maw on foot and only one survives.
In Mass effect 2 it takes three people less then half an hour to take it down on foot and everyone survives.
In Mass effect 3 it takes three people to take down a reaper on foot and everyone survives.
Isn't these the machines known for wiping out all civilasation evey 50.000 years? I would think they would know how to do it without getting themselves into situations like this. But no, to me the scales seems to have tipped over a bit toward the super hero comic levels. I expect a war but I also expect some of it to require things like the Mako or a Spaceship depending on what we are fighting.

That was actually multiple thresher maws, and those marines were lured into a trap against completely unfamiliar creatures. Also, a three-person squad on foot worked just fine in that game too.
In Mass effect 3 it takes three people to take down a reaper on foot and everyone survives.
Not one of those three ever directly engaged said Reaper. Also, we didn't see it taken down. We saw it diverted with a thresher maw that's even larger than the normal variety.

Where is the gameplay?
Where is the thought, the strategy, the tactics, the abilities, the exploration, the discovery?
All I see I someone holding down A and the forward stick. Thats not what anyone wants Bioware.
I totally get how it's a cinematic sequence and I appreciate how beautifully made it was, with many impressive effects and camera movements, but why cant you also have control at the same time? I want to always be DOING something. Not watching.

That's an awesome feature. Assuming you have that everywhere in the game. Now I won't have to say "by the waterfall" or "by that funky looking rock" anymore. Genious.Chris Priestly wrote...
