Another Mass Effect trailer, more linearity and shooting
You have to be kidding.
Yeah, I had that thought as well. They MUST be joking, right? Wrong.
I fail to see where Sheploo is shooting in the trailah. Perhaps you can be of use.
Of course, the bad news for the haters in here is that they'll have to play the actual game to actually enjoy the game. What a concept! Perhaps it flies too above their heads.

Did anyone else notice that the massive beam weapon capable of blasting ships into flaming shells with a glancing hit, strikes a few feet away from Shep and does not even singe him?
Guess it shouldn't surprise, when they're trying to make their games "more cinematic", and in Hollywood, the same artillery shells that can crack open a tank or level a large building, are just another easy dodge for the hero...
What, you mean like the beam weapon on the collector ship that tore the original Normandy in half? The one that was about 5-10 feet from Shepard as it was tearing the Normandy in half?
You mean like that? I mean, it's a story, an epic story. Suspend your belief a tad.

Whatever happened to the FemShep trailer? I was hoping that would be shown at the VGA's.
They didn't show the ME2 cinematic fight for the lost trailer at the VGAs or anyother event.

Are you talking about the trailer or the game here?sedrikhcain wrote...
Once again I learn that I should never be amazed at what the BSN will b**** about. For those of you who are so disappointed with this trailer, what exactly could they have shown that would've made you happy? Keeping in mind that 1) this is a game about the galaxy-wide war that the entire series has been building up to and 2) it was for mass-consumption, not the relatively tiny cadre of RPG heads who, apparently, would rather spend this war for their survival roaming around to random planets and chatting up strangers.

No, what flies above their heads is that they can't wrap their heads around the fact that the protagonist is already profficient at doing his job when you start the game rather than allowing them to play the first 10 levels missing their targets at point blank range because they haven't put enough points into the "Shooting"-skill yet. It breaks the immersion for them that they can't assign arbitrary points in the way they want - what if they WANT to play a Shepard who fluked his way through military school and ME1 and ME2?Arkitekt wrote...

There are multiple sizes of Reaper.Abirn wrote...
Is it just me or is that reaper really really small compared to the way reapers have been portrayed in the first two games?
The Sovereign-sized ships are the real Reapers, but they also have fleets of smaller ones that can land and move about on planets more easily, which is what was on Tuchunka.
