Hard to compare because of the different graphics and ME2's crappy lighting engine. It might be the Chief Scout, but I wouldn't bet any money on that.

Chief Scout looks closest to me. Makes story sense that he'd lead Shep's crew to the area with the Colossal Thresher Maw as well.

The krogan in question appears to be grunts replacement if he's dead....(my best guess, have not read leaks)

It does, though I can't place it. I do know it's a different VA than any of the proposed candidates.

I didn't really think it was any of them, just threw the pictures out so that we can compare them. I ran around the Urdnot camp looking at all the guys there. No-one has a skullplate that dark.
Guess we can keep calling him Kenny the Krogan.

As an aside, some love for the wonderful synthy parts of the music that snuck through all the action sound effects is in order.

[Edit] Another thing I noticed that was funny/odd: the EA/BioWare logo animation was reversed for this trailer to show BioWare's name first! Interesting…

Is that the Giant Thresher Maw? You know the mythological one thats supposed to have eaten entire villages? If it's not then damn I wouldn't want meet the Big daddy of them all. It's just huge!

Ahem, no idea about the new Krogan maybe it's wreav? he does help you on Sur'kesh right? maybe it's one guards protecting the Krogan princess. Afterall the Females have their own camps, guards and warriours. Or maybe he's from another clan other than Urdnot?

Cause it could be that Grunt has finally matured into an adult and thus his voice has deepened? Isn't he basically a child in Mass Effect 2? Even bioware said that he's a baby. So maybe this is grunts new look, if so I quite like it. Looks badass and much more like Wrex which can only be a good thing.

Until it's confirmed, I like Kenny the Krogan.

I think he looks more like the Patriarch than anyone else.

Yeah i did in my post. Only i didn't have access to the file but that was what i was referring to in regards to the thresher maw. It does look big enough in the trailer to be the one in the photo.

Well considering they seem to be using the keystone from Grunts loyality mission in ME2 to summon the thresher Maw. I'm going to guess the Krogan in the trailer is the Krogan Shaman.
