Although I am disappointed with Bioware not revealing any new information about ME3. That has to be the biggest Thresher Maw anyone has seen.

Yeah, but where else are you going to get a fast paced action show case scene that doesn't spoil anything? It's either Earth (which isn't all that actiony or fast paced), Sur'Kesh (not big enough), that Reaper chase (not that fast paced and lacks a bit of a wow factor), or something new. So they picked something new that we all knew was going to happen, but cut it down enough that we learn nothing new and they can wow the masses. Win win for Bioware.

Exactly. There are plenty of other locations, but the majority of them would include pretty big spoilers.

In fact, if you've read the script, this trailer is spoiling a lot too.

That looked awsome but i hope we get to see a Reaper get swarmed by an army rachni drones(assuming you let them live that is).

I'll bet this just one of many Epic cinematic sequences you'll see in the game.

Fairly good trailer. Reminds me of the Fremen using thumpers to summon Sandworms from Dune.
Hope they touch up the sprint, looks like he's riding a bike up a very steep hill

People seemed to have not noticed that ME1 and ME2 accomplished plenty of gameplay AND story showcasing in the time that ME3 has chosen to show itself as a shooter in gritty war zones that don't reflect the sleek future Mass Effect is.

Tuchanka definitely represents a very real part of the future that Mass Effect is.

Pretty sure choosing to show Tuchanka in the trailer is choosing to show one of the most damaged and unadvanced places in the universe of Mass Effect. Not a good representation of the future that is in ME

According to the forums, everything in the trailers is action-oriented an world-in-flames style because all the locations are like that in this war. On that logic, they could show any place

This is definitely Tuchanka

Mansell's score was in the trailer...

If that was Mansell, it didn't sound too remarkable. Then again I guess there was too much exploding for me to really notice the music.

Wow. There is a serious problem with those of you who think showing anywhere else is a spoiler. Theatrical trailers and ME 1, even ME 2, accomplish a fantastic series of story based scenes, highlighted by action. It is ridiculous to say such trailers are no longer possible in ME 3.

Bioware, I have no idea what you've done here. Where went your vision for RPG's with depth? Like, Shepard is *rolling* around stationary enemies in this gameplay, and this was what you chose to show the world. The all-powerful, titanic reapers of Mass Effect 1 are just dead, and it's like you scaled up the model of the turrets from Portal 2. The level ****ing culminated in me running up to touch a BOX. A ****ing BOX? Are you SERIOUS? Who the **** quit the company and doomed you all to go to ****?! Who EVER decided the theme of the game should be ****ing with a box? Someone should've ****ing slapped that designer, but it's sure as hell obvious how much depth is gone into the third installment. You're stripping the richness out of your own world, and I'd rather not buy your game so I might live with just my happy memories.

Good to see Vega in action, great trailer Bioware, just try not to repeat a ME2 marketing approach again, also Cheez I agree with you, the galaxy is in a state of war, the galaxy isn't just going to do nothing while the Reaper's kill everyone

Watching the trailer again, I realized for Vega that he had the symbol for singularity for his auto power. Does this mean that Vega is a vanguard type class (or adept?) and not a soldier class squadmate?

You do that.

Do this whole forum a favor and don't buy the game.

Oh no, Shepard rolled out of the way to not get incinerated by a giant particle beam.

Oh no, Shepard interacted with what looked like a box instead of a button to drop a giant hammer into the ground to summon the mother of all thresher maws. THIS IS NOT AN RPG ANYMORE.

Jesus Christ, some people have the most idiotic arguments sometimes.

Oh, Garrus, you run like a girl, but I still love you!

And for those complaining about Shep's invisibike running animation -- it still beats the limping gorilla shamble from ME2.

Re: Maw vs. Reaper -- the scene's a bit Godzilla-esque, but damn if it didn't make me say: "I wanna ride one!" Threshy for new combat vehicle!

It is truly impressive you managed to deduce all of this from a minute long clip. I applaud you.

Are you, errr, joking, because he ran right by the enemies. If you want more scripted dropping-in enemies that you run past so that you can hit a cutscene, I guess that's alright then. A  few years ago, I feel like the devs would've rather been caught dead than design cutscenes around interacting with a box. Look at the shimmering, spooky design of vergil in ME1
(here he is) and tell me how a designer could've decided to go with something cool like that and then also choose to make a box.

edit: I'm not trolling any of you. I've made an account just because I was so frustrated seeing this trailer, I really wanted to come and say something (and also read the reactions of others).
