No, some people have the right to be let down. Mass Effect 3 and Mass Effect 2 is a sign of things to come in the game  industry . Notice how gaming has become so generic? This new trailer was just more of the same over the top action. Heck , it was even more of a reinforcement that Mass Effect 3 is a Gears Of War clone.

Have you played Gears of War? Because I played both ME3 (At Comic-Con) and Gears of War 3, and they are completely different games in terms of gamplay and direction. Even though the ME3 build we got to play at Comic-Con was an alpha it was still far different from the Gears play style and story. I really wish people would play the actual game first, before rendering judgment.

Most disgruntled ME fans usually start acting like everything that has action and.., um, is a TPS is a GoW clone. Pathetic how these fans now treat GoW as some sort of model of excellence for TPS.

Yeah you're right I was using it as a generic term meaning "Noncombat Gameplay".

Could they have shown skill progressions? yes Let's show the audience 5 min. worth of putting points Into skills on the pause menu that's exciting!

Could they have shown paragon or renegade interrupts? Sure, but that would have had too much talking

Could they have shown a tour of the new Normandy? sure but It would not Have measured up to What everyone else was showing.

Could they have shown taili's face? Sure but.... Nobody would've cared.

And half of these are from gamers that brag about how they're soo "intelligent" why mispelling words to express their hatred of "EA selling out to tards" etc. 

I mean come on guys... Aren't we suppose to be better than this? 

If you want people to treat you as intelligent, ACT intelligent. Critics are bad when they just ramble and nitpick for no more reasons than because of personal issues. 

Go follow Terror_K's or marsh's example or something. :happy:

It was fairly underwhelming...That being said, so were all the trailers, so it was one of the better ones.

I suspect it was old footage anyway.

Ugh.I hear ya' Someone. I just hate how people want to jump to conclusions without even seeing the full game. Idiots. The whole point of action trailers is to get people attention and make them say to themselves, "What's this? It looks awesome!" I have to agree that it does look awesome. Not disappointed in the slightest. I am actually quite happy that Bioware is releasing footage whilst at the same time avoiding spoilers, which was a major gripe from people for ME2's marketing. Heh, it's kind of ironic really. Now that Bioware is NOT releasing spoilerific trailers people are complaining. *sighs* Idiots. (tired, goes to bed)

I don't know what is more entertaining, the trailer itself or these hypocrites who claim that this is nothing like Mass Effect. Really?

In this trailer, Shepard and Co. are advancing towards a Reaper with ships attacking it overhead. After fighting through ground forces, Shepard gets to a panel. After activating it, a cutscene plays in which the Reaper is destroyed.

You guys do realize that this is EXACTLY THE SAME AS HOW MASS EFFECT 1 ENDS, RIGHT???

but for mood-setting? CGI all the way
