Elcor Husk reinforced with turian skin for extra protection. Concept art also shows the upper half of a turian head. The other one is rachni husk shown in game informer back in May. Appears Harvester Husk and Adjutant were only ones cut. Get to keep the rest in ME3. Not bad.

Geth are already synthetic. Cant be huskified. Can be hacked and controlled

I don't think the Brute is Krogan OR Turian. It's JUST an Elcor husk. Not the HUGE torso and arms...and how it doesn't look AT ALL like rogans or Turians. This is a Turian husk I think:

I have to say that that is definitely at least Krogan and Turian. That said, what's with the HUGE shoulders on the gameplay screenshot?

Quite possibly. Also the big, pink, fleshy sacs? They look like they'd explode on death, much like the Klixen.

Maybe the Reapers kept some Rachni from the Rachni Wars as a backup.

From what I read early on about ME3 those are Rachni and those sacks explode spilling out countless smaller mutated creatures that swarm you.

I'm gonna go with the leaked info that said "Turian/Krogan" that Bioware has been frantically trying to cover up rather than Priestly's "confirmation" of Elcor.  haha

Even without that, we should know by now to take anything Priestly says with a huge grain of salt...and then toss it completely out the window.

While there's truth to that, it really only applies to when he issues a denial or dodges on a question (and then only sometimes).

The sometimes is what makes it so tricky.  Without consistency there is 0 credibility.
