Just curious i've heard they do nothing, or get a useless mention as a sidequest
Do the DLC's of ME1 carry over anything significant into me 2?

Of the two, I have only ever had references to BDtS. The other one is never mentioned, that or I missed that somehow. A shame really, I kinda liked the idea of Shepard have his/her own apt on a frontier world.

Yeah, BDtS gets mentioned briefly in a random news report, but that's it. It might have an impact in ME3, but I would bet my life savings on Pinnacle Station having no impact whatsoever.

I skipped Pinnacle Station to punish EA for not having Bioware build it. I heard it's little more than a shooting gallery, anyway.
But yeah, there is just the tiny news mention of BTDS depending on how you resolved the hostage situation at the end.
