Which I won't so I don't see the point. Especially not on an internet forum. In a thread about getting a magical ability to replace a squaddie nonetheless.

I suppose ignoring my posts is some difficult feat for you to accomplish.

For best comedy appeal:
1. Vega with Conrad Verner. He's truly extreme!
2. Male secret squadie with the Techno Turian. Because someone has to teach Shepard how to dance if he's going to keep romancing the galaxy. (if by chance you've not seen Techno Turian, check this video )

Serious answers:
1. Vega with Kasumi
2. Male secret squaddie with Legion
3. Liara with Samara for any char not in a Liara romance.

I like Liara, but think Samara would be more useful in combat and offer additional story development options with her history. Liara got a lot of her big story information deal with in ME1 and the Shadow Broker DLC. Aria might be an odd but interesting substitute as well.

If I had my way, "Already met Spoiler-removed-because-I'm-a-nice-person-Squaddie" would be swapped for Legion.
I'd swap Liara in favor of Mordin. Not because I don't like Liara, but she has a much more important job to fufill than running errands with Shep.
Vega in favor of Zaeed. Just because I really don't like Vega's "Dude-bro" persona, and I prefer Zaeed's badassery.
And, unlike some others, I wouldn't replace "Once-again-omitted-strange-spoiler-squaddie-of-vengance" with anyone. He may be a bit of a D!ck biscuit, but I'm sure he'd be invaluble on the battlefield, not to mention a bit of a novelty. I don't even care that his existance is questionable. My ReneShep is going to love and tolerate the everloving sh!t out of him.

SPOILER #2 for Mordin, although even as implausible as he/it is, I might end up not wanting to replace him/it.

Not that I really care, as my team will always be VS + Vega, unless forced by the game.
