Tonight was a great night for BioWare at the Video Game Awards on Spike TV.

Among the Command & Conquer: Generals 2 announcement (under the BioWare Label) and the reveal of new gameplay footage from ME3 (discussion here) was something that made the night really special for a lot of people in the studio. 

Due to the overwhelming support and votes by our community, Mass Effect 3 was chosen as the Most Anticipated Game of 2012! We were up against four other awesome titles, so this is a huge honor. It is a testament to you guys that this happened, and I want to express our gratitude.
 
A lot of people are working really long hours to get this game finished and in your hands. Knowing how supportive the community is makes a difference in these last few months. Thank you, thank you for rallying together and telling the world how excited you are for March! I'm incredibly proud to be your Community Manager.


We've got some great community initiatives coming up! More details soon!

So from what I understand, bioware is now a label of EA just like EA Sports and EA Play? Sounds like someone's trying to cash in on the name to me. Congrats on the most anticipated game though. Hopefully you guys can take home GOTY and best shooter next year.

By the way, Jessica, please tell as many of the devs as possible that us fans really want them to find ways in between those long hours to kick back and relax a little. I know just how crazy crunch time in the gaming industry can be; I haven't experienced it myself but I can only imagine after hearing the stories and knowing some folks and whatnot.

Eat three meals a day and sleep for at least six, dangit!

I second this! We don't want you guys keeling over from exhaustion. That would make us sad. Very, very sad.
