This was the most anticipated game of my life. I can't remember wanting a game more.
Then came the ending. Labor of love or not. I'll spend my days on You Tube watching what could have beens, instead of replaying this. ME3 was a 9/10 for me, until last 10 minutes. And people complained about Dragon Age 2??? I think the poll I just signed had 92% of Mass Effect 3 player saying Bioware slapped them in the face.

The most anticipated game of my life has been Spore, followed by ME3
It's a shame that both of them have been nerfed by the same corporation <_<

After the initial sadness wore off i came back and was looking at this page. It's funny reading page one, and all of the excitement, then pages 9 and 10... with all the sadness and hate.
The game went from being great to feeling like you'd just been ripped off in the last 10 to 15 minutes of it. Mass Effect 3 might have been the most anticipated game, but right now, it's solidly ranked in my top 3 of biggest let down... the PR approach by Bioware - more hide your head in the sand and pray the problem goes away - has added further insult to injury

The game feels so empty. The only place where you can walk around is the Citadel, and you can't even take your squad with you to hear some funny banter.
The exploration is the dumbest thing ever: press the 'Sensor' button until you hear the rEApers come trumpetting in like King Richard III arriving in England back from the Crusades. "BRUMMMM BRUMMM!"
All of the interesting dialog between characters? Gone. Now it's click them a few times and they say 2 lines and then start repeating themselves.
Oh and the stores... they made the store kiosks the most obnoxious thing in the game. They keep repeating stuff like: "All proceeds to Sirta go to the orphans.", or "Batarian State arms, keeping N (a z) i germany strong." And it repeats every 2 seconds. I just started buying everything in the cargo hold of the Normandy (AKA: Big Gay Steve's Shuttle Rides.) to avoid hearing those lousy, repetative sound bites.
Oh did I mention that all of the puzzles are gone also? JEEZ, I don't care if the XBox 360 losers can't match shapes or colors; you're supposed to make the puzzles harder, not take them away completely.
This was the most anticipated game, but it's also the biggest let down. ME3 doesn't even hold a candle to ME1 or ME2. It's so streamlined and boring. It's been dumbed down so much, I'm surprised it's not push "Space Bar" to win.

The most anticipated game of my life was Sonic Heroes, but it wasn't just the ending that disappointed me.Aravius wrote...

Spore, Command & Conquer 4, Mass Effect 3, Sim City Societies, all games i was really enthusiatic about, all ruined by the influence of the voted worst company of the year, i think i'm starting to see a pattern here

ME3 was the biggest let down in my gaming experience all the way back to my first Nintendo due to the ending. I surpassed even DA2 which I didn't think could be done.
most anticipated of 2012 (so far) but also biggest disappointment of all time game wise (so far)

I must say...Mass 3 is probably the most anticipated game yet for me. I'm super excited to see how all of my choices in the past two games are going to play out. Specifically, I want to know if Tali is going to be able to take Ash in a fight.

Now it is the most disappointing game... ever.
But, as Hudson wanted it to be, the ending is indeed "unforgettable"
