Not sure if I should congratulate Bioware... or us, the fans who made it happen. 

Still it's nice to see Mass Effect franchise grow in popularity. I guess, the days when I had to worry about the fate of my favorite franchise in readers' / viewers' polls are completely gone. Now you are big guys who can go toe to toe with anyone and have a good shot at winning. So, congratulations guys. You deserve it.

Also, I am looking forward to GoTY 2012 polls. It should be fun. Especially with the Heart of the Swarm being around.

I recorded the VGAs. Skipped through everything, watched the Last of Us trailer, skipped, watched the ME3 trailer, skipped, watched the overall best game (Skyrim, which I think is boring by the way.) and went to bed. I actually liked all of those games coming out next year, but I was looking forward to ME3 the most. Props to Bioware!

Considering it is the final of the trilogy it's expected and not a paticularly big suprise when comparing the other games listed. There is not a huge amount of info on , Halo 4... other than the vague trailer I haven't seen anything abut it or what the game is about whatsoever, whilst a couple of them I know very little of. ME3 has been leaked, hyped, delayed and advertised for the last few months or so repeatedly, so I would be suprised that it didn't win.

You know what's the most surprising about this award? Halo 4 was nominated. We all know it sucks, but most Halo fans don't, and we won against them. ME3 is really making an enormous change in games than I ever thought!

It is my most anticipated game...but I'm surprised it is everyone's most anticipated game. I thought Halo 4 or the next Call of Duty would win. I'm happy it did though...then again this is Spike's award show....brought to you by the people who make Manswers...which means the award doesn't mean all that much.
