I am currently nearing the end of my third playthrough, this time i played as a male human noble (who is engaged to Anora) and I have officially screwed my party so bad we are gonna be downing health polticuses like they were drugs. Here is my game in a nutshell
Killed Wynne at the tower
Romanced Leliana then took her along when i defiled the ashes and told her 'it was just some potery'
Through Allistar to the wolves (Anoras guards)
and turned down Morrigans offer.

So now i face Denerims final battle with My human warrior beserker/reaver, Sten as a reaver, Ogrhin as a berserker/reaver and lohgain with shale and my dog guarding the gates....I am in trouble Image IPB

eh, the ending of the game is actually quite easy compared to the rest of the game. The only place you can't use the NPC armies is the last "dungeon" which is like 4 rooms.

Yes i know (im looking forward to testing the werewolves in combat) but not being able to Cone of cold my enemies is gonna make things hard (that was my main tactic, entice the enemie, cone of cold them and attack while they are frozen) plus i had Wynne on my two other playthroughs so her 'Group heal' is going to be missed

Did you take dwarves or golems? I'm also thinking about using the human noble and going through and doing all of the opposite things I did the first run through. The three things that scare me the most are that.. I've always sucked at playing a warrior type, I've always sucked at being evil.. I don't know how I would have defeated the archdemon without Morrigan and Wynne. I'm thinking maybe I should actually just go the evil mage route.

As long as you have enough health pots it shouldnt be a problem. I killed the archdemon with only my main charecter and 3 health poultices. (arcane warrior, hard difficulty) Theire is a ballista to shoot the archdemon with and if you conserved enough of your troops they will kill the archdemon with little to no assistance (used 49 elves and 50 dwarves on the demon)

I don't know about the PC but I didn't like the fact that I couldn't recall the units after I dispatched them. I had it all planned out in my head.. use warriors here, use mages here... but I had to wait for them all to die... What kind of terrible general would use his troops in such a manner. "Ok.. all archers.. go out and shoot arrows till your all dead."..

Yes, depriving your party of Wynn's healing skills would be quite a challenge. From what I've seen so far, she manages to hold her own offensively as well.

Blood mage/spirit warrior is a valid choice for an evil mage, an evil nigh-invulnerable mage.

But you can pretty much write off having Alistair, Lelianna and Wynne at the end.

As for the OP, someone has an obsession with berserker/reaver melee types....
