My vote goes to the Armour of Legion, one, because it looks bad ass, and two, I love the back story to the Legion of the Dead. They are basically Grey Wardens (staying in the deep roads to slay the Dark Spawn, marking themselves as already dead). I actually chose the Legion over my Blood Dragon simply because I found myself more attached to the Legion XD.

My favorite one is definitely the Juggernaut armors-line of quest. Not only is it baddass, but you get lots of xp doing it and it doesnt cost ya one single coin.
The one you get for killing the possessed Sophia at Soldier's peak is nice too, altho it offers a much less attracting defense rating (and its part of a dlc content too, so some folks can miss it)

Wade's Superior Dragonbone Plate is my favourite, since it makes your tank insanely powerful. Unfotunately it does not look very nice, but fashion is second to function.

Ancient Elven armor looks great on female chars. I'm putting it on my next character for sure.

Does anyone else think that the dragonblood plate armor makes you look like a pregnant robot?

The ones listed here are the only ones I found complete sets for.. I found templer armor early and though it looked pretty cool but never found any pieces to go with it.. and I didn't find any higher tiers of it either. I wish they would have done more with the leather armor.. there were a couple sets that you could notice some differences in color but it mostly looked the same no matter what.

Yes, yes I do. It looks decent on Dwarven characters, but pretty rediculous on everyone else.

This one looked the best to me: http://dragonage.wik...ki/Effort_Armor
though I'm sure it's stats are not as great as some. It just looks awesome.

The Warden Commanders armor. I love the texture details on that thing. Templar armor comes second because it's the most unique heavy plate armor yet, wish they'd done more of these unique armor sets.

I love the looks and lore of the Warden Commander's ... I love the Lore and quest-line of the Juggernaught .. I think the story of the Legion armor was cool, but it really seemed out of place on anything but a dwarf ... I like the looks of the Templar armor (except for the scratches placed in the same exact spot on all Templars) and the pattern on the Templar helms and Bergens Armor is very close if not exactly the pattern on a real helm of one of the Religious Orders (Templar, Tutonic, or Hospitalars I'm not sure) so I think the helm is cool.
I am disappointed that here you are in legendary armor (Juggernaught or Warden Commander) and no one even acknowledges it... I mean according to Lore, Juggernaught should have caused quite a stir in any loyal subject... but that is most likely asking too much of the writers.

Look/Lore-wise: Armor of the Legion
Statwise: Dragonbone Plate
Mages get kinda screwed compared to all the great plate in the game...it's tempting to pick up Blood Mage or Arcane Warrior just to not stare at Tevinter Mage Robes the whole game...
