Ancient Thresher Maw keeps it's mouth locked on Reaper Walker's forehead for as long as possible, rather gently grasping it's large "head" with both scythe-arms. Notice there is no visible damage from either the "bite" or "clawing", even though the Thresher could have loosed powerful acid onto the Reaper's unshielded haul?


I think this Thresher Maw has spent the millenia of it's life pondering it's existence, and it's lonelieness. This is it's chance to reach out to another sentient being that won't just be crushed by it's mass. So a harmless kiss and embrace are given to the Reaper, but Ancient Maw is rejected. It dodges a laser, and stealthily ambushes the Reaper with another kiss and embrace. It seems rape may not be beyond Ancient Maw.


I had some nice screencaps to demonstrate this theory, but I'm not allowed to post images. How quaint.

Man it's so sad! They both want to love eachother, but the Maw misinterprets the Reapers laser beam as rejection...I bet Shepard gets to be the middle-man trying to make both of them understand the love is mutual.

This is probably a way more important part of the game then I first thought.
