I agree, with every single bit.

Who cares that Shep's a soldier, if it's not getting all over his or her eyes, Shep should be fine. It's a game, the hair's not truly blinding anyone and isn't going against the rules of absolutely anything. If Shepard's a spectre, he or she can wear Rapunzel hair for all I care.
