I know it wouldn't be important to the Reaper war. But I was just listening to this song called "Who am I to say", and I totally pictured Shepard and his/her love interest slow dancing to it. Then I thought, wouldn't it make ME3 even more emotional if there was this tender loving dance scene instead of the obvious sex scene in the captain's corridors that we've had for every ME game? I mean we could also have the sex scene in there with a dancing one as well. Plus it could be optional, like Shepard could go to the Citadel and dance with his/her love interest or something. I think that it would help the relationship grow too. It would also add some substance to the romance plots instead of talking to the them four times, and then having stress relieving sex before the final mission.

Probably too late to put in something like that. Also, slow dances rarely work in video games. FF8 kind of worked, but something in Mass Effect would feel downright odd. In what context would that really work within said narrative? The devs are having a hard enough time not angering fans as is

While it might be good in another narrative, I don't think it will fit with the way things are working out. I mean, if I was playing ME3 and ended up with a touching slow dance cutscene, I'd just be kind of like, "Hellooo, we're in the middle of a galactic war here..." That's just me though

Thanks. I do realize that the fate of the galaxy is at stake, but if there's time for sex there's time for dancing ***n't! Also, would it be THAT awkward? I mean I've seen a lot of the "romance scenes" from ME2 and some of those are already awkward. (mmmm look at this, the prizzzze... and of course having fun in the engine room.)

Yes. Yes it is. Haven't you heard? The Normandy is the love boat of the galaxy. Just kidding, but I think that it would add some substance to the romance plots. Instead of talk-talk-talk-talk-okay lets ****- sex before final mission.

Zorz, This may have been a good idea about 6 months ago when they would've been able to add it. I would assume it would be around 60 days before the game has to go gold. Right now they probably need to focus on polishing that sucker like nobody's business before sending it out to the masses. It means BioWare would pretty much have to get a mocap team to do all that, and I personally doubt there's much time left.

I think that Bioware should learn how to implement meaningful "romance" options into their RPGs first.

Why not, as long as it is optional so the ruthless shepards can brood in a corner by him/herself.

I would certainly like it, if it fits.

...that at least one person in ME3 can go dancing with Shepard? Dunno slow dance or no, but still

I agree! I honestly dont see why not. The LI in ME1 danced with Shep in the Flux. It would be nice to see that comeback, even if it is something little. 

It IS the little things that count  

besides - I'm dying to see Garrus dance! Whether its like the techno turian dance, or a slow dance, i dont care! XD

edit: Dawwwwww @ that jackxShep pic. Seeing Jack in a slowdance with Shepard would be so meaningful and beautiful. She has a soft spot. She just doesnt show it. [well....to anyone besides Shepard:3]
