...is Shepard going to be shaken up by some blast or quake and sent tumbling down from one piece of debris to the next?

Seriously, I'm just wondering here. It was in the Anderson/Earth demo, and the Legion/Reaper Crab-Tank demo and now it's appeared again in this new trailer on Tuchanka.  It was a neat device and set piece when I first saw it, but it's already starting to get old fast, and I've barely seen much in the way of ME3 footage (basically the original three demos from E3, the squad demo, the leaked footage and now this new teaser, and it's in three of those) that equates to probably about 2% of the total game.

So please don't tell me it happens much more than that.

Once per level. This is, in fact, how Shepard will defeat the reapers. A blast will knock her/him into a prothean artefact that turns out to be a giant "OFF" switch.

No worse than Drake. Everything he touches falls down.

Nathan Drake has the work luck in the world.

You wanna complain on how the sun is positioned in Mass Effect too?

I see nothing wrong with it. Showing these set pieces gives us a sense of false security. The reapers destroy everything in their path. However in the reaper base demo on Rannoch he was pretty silly for standing right next to the marked spot and falling right down.

Could be worse.

He could start and end every level knocked out.

Yeah I am talking about you Call of Duty.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. Now that you raise the point, I think that Dr. Chakwas will always have her hands full patching Shepard after every mission he/she takes a fall in!

But to me. Earth Shattering Earth Quakes are part of what make the Reapers more real as to just how big and dangerous they are.  Because they can make the ground shake and buildings fall down.  We're only picking stuff like that out because it's all we are seeing at this point.

Well, you get shell-shocked at least once, per level in COD, so that's why we're getting it in this.
Makes sense.

Would you rather have corridors with chest high walls or fall every other level? Personally I'd rather have the floors give out then more corridor OK corals.

Or the best.  Even though everything he touches breaks, he still manages to come out of it ok.  Wait, would the two extremes cancel each other out and mean that he has average luck?

COD is the cancer that is speading into gaming.

The only way to kill it, is to purge it. But with ****s still buying the same rehashed series every single year the cancer will continue to fester.

I'll only consider it a problem if the game starts going down the Starcraft 2 route of having one character routinely help another get back up in a display of brotherhood and camaraderie whilst the camera focuses in on their hands just in case we miss the touching bonding moment.

True but when you do over use something it does lose it's power after awhile.  It's like if a football team kept using the same play over and over again (obviously more variables in a football game then ME3 but you get what Im saying right)?

i really hope this doesn't happen every level.

COD IS the cancer of gaming. It has infected everything. EVERYTHING. It's not going away any time soon either, because, like you said, the droolers keep on buying the same rehashed crap every year, willing to pay top-dollar for it.

Sadly, EA/Bioware took note, and turned the mass effect series into a cash grab.

Actually yes, I do.

In Mass Effect when on the moon, not only are Earth's continents reversed, but the sun is completely absent. Now, unless the moon was in transition into a full solar/lunar eclipse when Shepard was on the surface there is absolutely no way the sun would not be visible Why do you think NASA issues solar protective gear to the astronauts? Solar radiation and the uncompromised view of solar flares without atmosphere would not only blind someone but cause irreversible radiation damage.

And lets not even go into Mass Effect 2, and how the event horizon of the black hole during the endgame mission would swallow up everything within several light years of the disk.

UNREALISTIC! God I hate Mass Effect so much because of this malarkey, I just want to throw myself out of a window and land on hard pavement.

(And that is what we call an entiled gamer, ladies and gents.)

Yes, but that Bad luck comes first and that good luck has to come to bail him out. That means if it wasn't for that bad luck his good luck would be used for better things instead of bailing him out. I believe that still equals bad luck, so that means Nathan Drake still has the worst luck.

Being that EA injected as much COD as they could into beloved franchises such as Mass Effect, Battlefield and Dead Space I think we're just where we need to be.

1000x this.

So, bleetman, take your arrogance and shove it, kindly.
