Hi Guys,
firstly let me apologise as i dont mean to flame, i am
just a dissapointed customer., looking to suggest an improvement to your
service.
I have a problem with SWTOR and after waiting with no reply
for an email, i understand that you guys are very busy, i decided to
contact EA by telephone. I had to find a phone number from EA.com as no contact number is listed clearly on the site. 08452432435
After
waiting in a phone que i finally got through to ea, they first lead me
to believe that i would have to contact bioware as 'ea werent given the
rights to deal with SWtor technical difficulties.
I then tried to find a UK bioware phone number, which i could not find.
I
then rang ea, and asked them if bioware were a 'division of ea' why can
i not deal with them, they insisted although bioware did not have a UK
phone number, they did have a Republic of Ireland number which would not
be as expensive or inconvenient (8hr time delay) to call as the
american office.
I then called or rather tried to call this bioware ROI phone number : 080002469273
which did not dial and i suspect to be non existent.
i
then recalled ea for a final time, who insisted they could not help me,
even though i explained that bioware in itself was "© 2011 EA
INTERNATIONAL (STUDIO AND PUBLISHING) LTD, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED" (check
bottom of your page) and therefore is part of ea and therefore ea should
resolve my technical issue.
To sum up; You should provide a UK or european ENG line, as blizzard do with wow,
represented
by BIOWARE. Failing this EA should accept responsibility for this, and
resolve the problem on my behalf by contact bioware aka ea.
:( Help Bioware, EA? UK Phone number

You might get a better response if you PM a moderator of this forum. Just click on any of their links at the bottom of this page.
Or contact EA Support.

Did you put in the international dial code to call the Republic of Ireland from the UK? It's +353, I think you take out the 0 and replace it with +353. Its been a long time since I had to call it but any contacts from down south stored in my phone have the 0 at the start removed and +353 added.

EA support should deal with technical aspects of the games. 'Should' being the key word. Game problems they refer gamers to the boards like this one.
General concensus on EA support seems to be that a lot of personnel are...less than satisfactory, as such it takes perseverance and luck to get one who can help you with your problem.
EDIT: there's a live chat option which seems to be quite good from what I've read around here. You might want to give that a go.

Where are you, and what is your issue with SWTOR? The nature of the issue would determine which business entity to contact regarding problems. If you were calling an EA UK business office asking about a technical issue with SWTOR, I doubt you would get any kind of satisfactory response as business analysts and finance personnel may have little knowledge of game content or technical issues. Most issues for EA-published games will go through EA Support, which is here.
Issues regarding Star Wars: The Old Republic will be routed through its own support centre, which is indeed in Galway, Ireland. They may or may not be active yet, as the game has not yet been released. You can also get assistance with SWTOR through their support gateway, on their community forums or on their website's help centre.
You also didn't mention which email address you used to contact... actually, you didn't mention which business entity you tried to email, or how long you waited before calling. Yes, BioWare Austin, the developers of Star Wars: The Old Republic, is a studio of BioWare, which is indeed owned by EA, but EA is a large publisher who owns a lot of studios and many of its departments have no involvement with active game production. It sounds like you've merely been contacting business entities that have nothing to do with SWTOR development or support.
SWTOR has a rather robust support network, both in-game, through their website, and through various numbers and emails. I found the ones I linked through a simple Google search and checking the main headers of www.swtor.com. Perhaps one of them can help you, if you haven't tried them yet. They might get you further in resolving your SWTOR issue than calling random EA phone numbers .

I did. Please use one of the support methods I linked you to in my previous post. No one here at BioWare Edmonton will have any control over your SWTOR account or game. Just because we are all owned by the same parent company does not mean everyone knows everything about every game.joekandeli wrote...

Third time.
I have provided links to business entities who actually deal with support and Star Wars: The Old Republic. No one here at BioWare Edmonton has any control over your SWTOR account, nor are they involved with SWTOR tech support or account management. Use the links I have provided to contact someone who can help.

As Stan indicated, you will not get help here. Please use the methds he suggested for help.
It is the launch period for SWTOR and they will be busy. We appreciate your patience.
