 Hi everyone. I recently downloaded German Shepard from Masseffectsaves and everything went smoothly, until I actually went to start the new game. When I go to the "Import ME1 Character" tab, German Shepard is there. When I select it and click on Import Character, however, it never loads. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Exact link of the save file? I'll test it out when I get home and see what I can find.

Actually, we are trying to help with the game, as delivered from Bioware, and you are asking about something from outside. Doesn't the site you got the replacement save from have its own forum?

I had no trouble myself, but I did have both games, and did use the one from my own ME-1. Google claimed a truly ridiculous number of hits on your subject, and I flatly don't believe them:

I had no troubles using saves from that site myself, but I have both games installed, it might be attempting to parse info from Profile.MassEffectProfile which also resides in the save folder.

Or you are have a different "version" or locale of Mass Effect installed.
