Eh, she's definitely the character I'll miss the least.

I want more Garrus/Kaiden/Wrex/Legion/Mordin/Tali/Liara (especially after LotSB, altho SB seems too powerful).  Legion and Mordin are badass.  That really can't be argued.  Nothing is quite as cute as how Legion's head flares out when he's embarrassed for taking the N7 armor, or when Mordin takes a deep breath.  Heck, I should change my Onyxia DBM to say that (WoW reference).  Garrus and Kaiden are my favorite LI's for FemShep, but especially Kaiden.  He had me as soon as he sounded like Carth Onassi.  He's not annoyingly evasive like Jacob, but cute.  And they happen to be really fun characters to have around LI or not.

Second tier would be Thane/Grunt/Jack  These are all characters I kind of liked, but they felt out of place with the main story.  Thane I liked best of these three, probably because he values things besides killing.  While Jack's were amusing, I think I enjoyed Aria's single F bomb the most.  Grunt was simply not as badass as Wrex.

Third tier is Jacob/Miranda/Samara/Zaeed/Kasumi.  I've got nothing against Jacob except for how friggin' resistant he is to FemShep's charms--plus he's too nice for Cerberus.  LotSB confirms when you basically felt all along, that he was placed with Shepard to earn trust because of his straight arrow act.  I'd rather read "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" if I want to see a man resist womanly charms.  In spite of Samara's interesting past, I think that matriarch bartender is more interesting than Samara going forward.  The 2 DLC mercs were nice, but since they didn't engage in conversation--fail.

I'd also pay for a way to see Conrad Verner either quit his BS altogether, or get killed doing something really stupid.  If he saves the group (and by extension, galaxy) like he's R2D2, I'll be insulted.  If he saves something else, not mission critical but a tram of people or something, due to his fail-ness metagaming some terrorists a la "The Man Who Knew Too Little," I could enjoy that as well. 

Back to the original question, I'm really most looking forward to Kaiden, since he's the most absent from ME2 and my Shepard's LI.

Miranda most but in all honesty I want anyone who wasnt in me1, sadly thats all I have on the normandy. Lol my sheps gonna be so mopey.

then he promptly goes to his quarters and calls Miranda, Samara, Grunt, and Kasumi to talk about that time they killed all the collectors, saved the earth/galaxy and generaly kicked ass. Then asks them why they can't be on the ship.

The only reply they have is that they are to busy with some callibrations to be with him to fight the reapers.

While Miranda isn't my favorite, I like her more than most of the squadmates in ME2.  I hope that she gets her due in ME3 and isn't reduced to a mere cameo.  She isn't my main love interest, but I think every love interest character especially should be in it more than just a single mission.  At the very least, a non-permanent squad member love interest should get written into the story more.  So if I didn't romance Miranda in a playthrough, it would be ok if she only made a cameo.  For the playthrough I did romance her in though, she should be in the story more than just once.

I can see why the first squad matter the most, and they had dialogue with eachother and i miss the debrief's. It just ain't the same in ME2, however i got ME2 before the first and i have grown to like the characters.

Particularly looking forward to

Thane's involvement in the story ( kai leng vs thane ! )

Having chats with LI liara

and sitting on the floor, legs crossed, listening to Zaeed's man stories

Ashley, Garrus, Liara, and everyone else from both ME1 and ME2 team-wise. They all play important roles, I'd say.
