[mcsupersport]

I am currently running an Adept through ME2, and will eventually run most classes as well.  I am recording and posting the videos on YouTube for anyone who wants to see more ME2 runs and how I play.

I don't claim to be the best player, but I get the job done.
I have all the first recruitments up, and first half of Horizon right now.  Will be posting the second half of Horizon later tonight unless plans are altered by outside forces.


Go watch if you want, and I hope you enjoy.  I hope to get better at making the videos as I go along so please pardon any gaffs or mistakes in editing.

Now started an Infiltrator, used editor to unlock the CS choice of Shotgun and all standard weapons, so currently sporting a Viper going after Mordin.  I have never understood story wise, how you could justify Shepard NOT having the best weapons available after having Billions of credits spend to bring him back and make a ship.....oh, well, editor changes that.

Cool videos. I noticed you don't use Singularity that much. It does kind of suck though until you get it and your passive maxed. so that could be why.

If you are warp bombing an unprotected enemy, why use a power with six second cooldown and a slower projectile??

I use it as a trap and as a hold in position of higher level enemies.  For standard enemies I will almost always us a pull combo instead.

Well I wasn't implying use it on enemies with just red bars left. For example, the Krogan in Grunt's mission you could of just used Singularity and accomplished the same feat as Pull+Throw while also CCing and stripping their armor.

At low levels before the second biotic upgrade and before heavy version in an Insanity play it will not hold a Krogan very long.  Once you get the upgrades and the Heavy evolution you are very correct, but iirc I had only a second or third level Singularity that mission.  It would have burned out very quickly and left me with a 3 second longer cooldown than pull.   Insanity has a built in 25% duration penalty to all active powers, so a Singularity that normally lasts 6 seconds lasts 4.5 instead just as a base before you reduce it more do to protections.

I will use it when I need to trap an enemy, and I will use it more later in the game, but my bread and butter is pull, warp and throw.  

I am currently debating with myself over which evolution of throw to take, I usually go heavy, but I am thinking to take area this game, we shall have to see.

On my sentinel I went with heavy throw for the cool launching you can do. On your horizon video you got some serious air on a pulled drone that you threw. So I'd love to see more of that.

Anyway... not bad showing off a straightforward adept.  The Korlus video was pretty cool.  Especially liked when you knocked that one guy onto the back ledge and then pulled him back to the original area.

I couldn't have been the only one that thought Shepard should have the option of a suggestive comeback....

I just about busted a gut laughing the first time I heard that.  And when I got back there and now had fraps, I couldn't resist recording it.  Since a large number of my Shep's did "nail an Asari" I also REALLY wanted a comeback like you posted.

I just uploaded the N7: Anomalous weather mission. I will be honest it isn't very Adepty as much as kinda the cheap easy way in letting my squad do the work. As I said in the notes part of the video upload I hate that mission.

I feel like I have a statistically significant increased risk of dying on that mission compared to other N7 missions and even Haestrom. Don't really know why. Maybe I play it too recklessly.

Probably because you cannot see enemies until they are almost on top of you. Enemies also seem very aggressive at certain points and some of the cover is not very good.

That's probably it. I tend to just charge up while trying to keep the squad back in cover...

Also usually do it pretty early so I can get the upgrade, so maybe that is a factor.

tell me about it, with yours, capn's , Ry's , mc's , 2 days without internet access at home and limited time , ME3 will be out by the time i finish watching them all ! <_<

If you like Mercs flying, then you will probably love the Miranda Video.

Also the Garrus loyalty run is up. I decided to do a complete video of the run, without editing anything or fastforwarding though sections, since I didn't die at all and it happened to be less than 15 minutes in total.  I did leave out the final cutscene and assasination scene but hey, all the combat and hacking from beginning to triggering the cutscene with Harkin is there.  What you will see if you watch is exactly how I played the game on that mission, and NO, I don't use a hack program on the bypass game, that is just how I have learned to do it.  Alas, I hate the YMIR mechs so, I cheesed them, so don't go looking for a big 2 YMIR fight, you will be greatly disappointed if you do.

Well, I have now managed to post up the entire Shadow Broker mission. I broke it up into the fights up to the parking log wave battle, the exterior of the ship up to the big battle, then the big exterior ship battle up to the door to the Shadow Broker, and finally both bosses together, ie Vasir and Shadow Broker.

I really hope Bioware took the ideas they used for this DLC level design and kept most for ME3. It has some of the best integrated cover, backgrounds and action of the game. I hope you like the vids, and thanks for watching.

Tali loyalty is up, and am currently posting the IFF mission.

Took Grunt and Mordin on the IFF and worked pretty well, except for the occasional Biotic glitch where the physics doesn't work and I get to Warp Explode a Husk.....
