The Witcher's 2, nudity is extreme, especially the scene with that red head, were they take "bath".

I don't think anybody here asked for more nudity, what we asked for was, bringing back ME1 sex scenes, as they were AWESOME.

Awesome?? I thought they lacked in class myself.

But in recent years the USK has become a bit more relaxed (as far as I know the last BioWare game that got adjusted for the German Market was Jade Empire) and Publishers are more willing to acept an 18 rating so it is not such a big issue today as it used to be and only really affects realistic shooters.

I'm guessing they weren't a fan of all the blood spray.

They were pretty good in my opinion. A good amount of sexuality without going too far. It felt a lot more intimate than probably all of ME2's romance scenes. If ME3 can capture the intimacy that ME1 gives off regardless of whether we see a lot of skin or not I'll be content.

I personally hope they'll have ME1 scenes back, as even they were showing almost nothing did not at least break immersion with clothed action.

^ Aaahh... I *LOVED* it whenever I cut an enemies head off in Jade Empire (especially of they were a lotus assassin)

Makes me feel like playing it again. It's been a few months.

You should. It'll certainly kill time until ME3. Although not much time, as it is probably Bioware's shortest game. It's so much fun though.

I've been doing my first closed fist playthrough recently, and it is astonishing how much of an assh*le the Spirit Monk can be. It makes Renegade Shep looks tame in comparison. Some of the responses are so hilarious though.

Rule Britannia and our ratings board that doesn't give a f*ck (though if I remember right the Original GTA 'nearly' got banned and Manhunt 2 was considered for banned, can't remember if it did but never played it)

I to be honest thought ME1 Scenes were better done, ME2's were a bit cringe-worthy to everyone who's actually had sex I imagine. I honestly cringe just as bad as the "Luggage" comment Shep makes to Ashe in ME1 (Urgh "you've just gotta find a matching pair" or some-bo****ks like that).

What everyone should think about is how the hell Shepard and Miranda had sex in ME2, unless she brought an ass load of lubricant or oil or something she ain't getting out of that body suit any time soon.

I think that fully clothed sex is about as ridiculous as taking a shower fully clothed. Tali being clothed, I can understand and frankly I was surprised they removed the face mask. But every other LI? When other games have gone way farther (nearly to the realm of porn in some) it really doesn't make sense for BioWare to stay T for teen when it comes to sex with an M rated game.

They have a product they can be proud of if ME1 and ME2 are indicators and ME3 should be better by miles. They should do the game in a way that makes sense to an adult and be proud of it.

We'll probably never know for sure but I think the FOX news thing really affected their vision for the romances. You're right though, ME1 is a game that they can be proud of, screw what anyone else thinks. Or maybe EA affected their vision for the romances?

"Extreme"? I thought the scene was quite classy myself.

That is what ME3 scenes should be like.

Whatevs. ME1's nudity didn't bother me at all. It certainly wouldn't this time around.

Perhaps the game industry just isn't ready to grow up on that topic just yet.

Again I think the whole issue is testimony to modern societies' ridicousity.

The game is going to be rated M for mature. Which means it is not suited for immatures. Maturity is partially defined as being able to cope with whatever comes with life, be it violence, or *gasp* sexuality and nudity.
If people can't deal with that, they are not mature and as such should not buy the game, period.

-----
That said, FoxNews is immature. Case in point: FoxNews didn't play the game. What more proof do you need to see this system works perfectly.
-----

As for the scenes themselves, what I want is that any romantic scenes can convey at least as much intimacy as ME1 did, which was quite fitting and tasteful if you'd ask me. I am fairly certain no one in here seriously asks for explicit pornographic details or alike. So whatever nudity is involved in those scenes is inconsequential in the end, because if it is a romantic intimacy, it is tasteful, if its Shepard or whomever riding it out on whomever it is porn.

Not everything has to be about sex and lust, a relationship based only on these things would be rather shallow if you ask me. I would rather have a tender loving moment over the sexed up humpty dumpty scene if you get my drift. Just my opinion though.

Just like the rest of the entirety of the Mass Effect Fandom (Except that loser Drucilla, but since when does anyone give a flying f*ck about him/her/it?), I am in favour of teh bewbiez for ME3.

Oh, and Drucilla, Humpty Dumpty does not approve being used as a term for sex, and is also very confused as to why he would be.

tbh

@CptBomBom00:

Again I really don't understand how nudity itself is extreme. It can't be. It's natural. If anything the violence commonly found in M rated video games is extreme. It's sad that nudity is shunned, and violence is glorified. I would hope you aren't one of these people, because The Witcher 2's love scenes were all very classy and very well placed. The nudity was natural, not thrown in as eye candy.

I don't want BioWare to copy-paste this model for scenes mind you, but something similar would provide a much more powerful scene. Sex with clothes on is as awkward to watch as it is to actually do. Besides that, people get naked for sex last I checked anyway.

we Americans are prudish in matters erotic, so I'm glad that we have no problems, but Heavy Rain is, in erotic matters much, much further than Mass Effect , I find it ridiculous that we're still so hard to do indeed!

Nein, I am afraid that dashing, clever, handsome gentleman has moved on. His legacy of amazing and original threads and ideas will continue their rest in the halls of the BSN where he carved his name for eternityl, I'll bet.

It's a shame how I've only been here for a day. I really wanted to meet him.
