Who knows? I was pointing out that "Jessie" is gender-neutral. The pronoun/name used for an inanimate object isn't indicative of sexuality anyway.

I actually didn't use Zaeed in my playthrough - but, I imagine he would be the type of guy that says.

But most every other male squaddy mentions a woman, Garrus, Thane, Jacob, all of them talk about women in some capacity.

I'm sorry, I might have lost myself between the lines dividing the comments but is this thread really about Zaeed being a closeted homosexual?

I wasn't expecting that. I thought he might be "closeted" about something else. One would think that by the way things have been progressing in recent times and how they've progressed in the game's fiction, people living in this (fictional) time would have done away with such snobbish concepts.

I really don't think you need to be afraid of religious fanboys/girls running after you with pitchforks if you're a homosexual or bisexual living in a multispecial, multiracial, multicultural colony in a star system I dunno how many light-years away from the Milky Way our star system *ahem*. I doubt such terms as straight/gay/bi and heterosexual/homosexual/bisexual would even be necessary beyond the medical spectrum of the conversation.

And really? Does Zaeed strike you as someone who'd care what someone else thought of him. *In the sense that this would be the reason why he doesn't talk about his sex life - that Shepard would think poorly of him if he knew Zaeed favored the same sex. That be rubbish, as the English say.

If it's not a member of his own species? A xenophile? I guess. And asari aren't asexual (well there could be asexual asari I guess) by either definition of the term since they need mindsex to procreate (even though they don't have sexual reproduction... I think I just blew my own mind)
