Hell no.
The whole dying thing is what makes Thane an interesting character.
Kind of kills all of that if he just gets made better.
He's an incredibly interesting character, anyway. Did you talk to him in ME2?

I thought it would have been a cool sub-plot to find a cure for Kepral's syndrome, or at least, find the beginning of a cure like we did for the genophage. I think that dead or alive, Thane's character was awesome. I romanced Thane in one of my playthroughs and he is a super interesting character. One of my favorites actually.
However I think his death was handled well in ME3. So I am honestly not sure, I think it'd be nice to have the option for people who want it, but yeah.
I think randomly stumbling upon a full out cure wouldn't be great though, but maybe a DLC? I'd be down for more stuff like that.
They did create kakliosaurs from fossils, a cure for Keprals would probably be far less out there in my opinion.

Especially when Mordin specifically says that the cure for the genophage is still years away when you save the data in ME2 but then in this game he's all "here it is". How long have the hanar been working on a cure? I don't see why there couldn't be a breakthrough with Keprals Syndrome as well.RShara wrote...
Mordin can magically cure the genophage in a few weeks

My husband is an interesting character too, quite the funny and charming guy, and oh yeah, he has a liver disease that will one day kill him. So, am I to assume that he would no longer be interesting if they found a cure for what he has? I find this logic insulting.
