Honestly, I think the TPS train left the building already in ME2.
It left the building already in ME1.

Actually, the leaked script has been the only thing I have seen about ME3 that makes me want the game.Dreadwing 67 wrote...
I know there are the haters that defend the script claiming its the pinnacle of the reasons ME3 will suck<_< and that Bioware is lying when they say it is old. But I would not land credence to something that was datamined out of an unfinished pre-released beta. It just dosen't seem realistic to assume that's not close to a first or second draft. Not counting the fact that there are 4 empty lines between each point.

(This is my own thoughts so those that love ME2 do not be a hater and say this about it)

I'd say that the good, awesome and sad moments outweighs the dumb ones by a lot.

I am scared the ME3 will be as bad as ME2 witch is in my top 20 worst games I have ever played. I'm hoping that it will be on par with ME1 wich is in my top five al time favoret games on any system, but from what I have seen and read it will be some where in between them.
(This is my own thoughts so those that love ME2 do not be a hater and say this about it)
Then you'll be disappointed, ME3 is ME2 but with more RPG in it.

So basically ME1 but with way better shooting. If that disappoints anyone than idk what they'd want

ME1 is a TPS, but much less of a cover shooter focused TPS than ME2 (you can't beat half the final main boss battle in ME2 with a conversation check). ME2 goes all out TPS, and started shoe-horning unnecessary features to make it feel like more of a conventional shooter.aridor1570 wrote...

The only thing I am scared about is the rumors of no squad selection screen and not being able to choose your squad that you want for a mission.
Let me tell you something about that.

Well, you see, when the haters see the improved TPS mechanics, they, instead of looking at some of the RPG mechanics already revealed, rather call the game a "Pure shooter Gears of War clone".
I mean, look at all of thse threats demanding the RPG mechanics to be shown, all you need to damn do is search "ME3 RPG mechanics" or something like that in google and they'll find it easily, but no, they want BW to deliver it to them with the only marketing form they understand: Trailers.

I didn't read the script or anything but, is it truly fake?

Read the script; it's fine. Nothing worse than Benezia's dying speech or the Lazarus project (although it came close; there were a few twists where I wanted to find the writer responsible and slap him/her). There were also parts that legitimately made me laugh, parts that made me almost cry, parts that I didn't see coming, and parts that I could never have predicted, but make so much sense in retrospect that I can't believe I never figured it out.
It will be at least as good as the previous two titles. However, don't expect it to be the same as two previous titles.
Also, the gameplay mechanics are easy to clarify for yourself without plunging too deeply into spoilers. Basically, the shooting's better, and the skill/weapon customization is deeper.
Let me reiterate: IT WILL BE AT LEAST AS GOOD AS THE PREVIOUS TWO. The majority of people who are upset wanted something very specific to happen with the game that disagreed with what the ME3 team wanted (example: Cerberus are bad guys now and heat sinks are still in).
Great post, Admiral.
There's also the fact that reading an unfinished script =/= in game cinematic experience. In other words, even if the script is beyond incredible, if they don't get the execution right....the game can turn out awful. The same holds vice versa.

Indeed, but after seeing the VGA teaser, well, I have nothing to be worried about.

Although I have some concerns towards ME 3 I want to keep my feet on the ground before the game is released and I have chance to play it. And there is multiplayer demo coming up in January.
Why do people call it a multiplayer demo? it contains both modes in the demo.

He might mean the early access MP stuff they gave to people that got BF3 new.

My Revan in KoToR was female, the canon is he's male, that's fine, it didn't lessen my enjoyment of the game, nor predispose me to hate the Revan novel, by Drew K., I just finished today prior to logging into ToR. It's all just personal perspective. I don't care that John Shepard has been shown in all the footage so far, my Sheps are all female and make no mistake SHE is going to take down those Reapers come Spring.
Second, I too was concerned that ME3 was turning into a straight TPS. After all, there's a lot of testosterone that can fly when the fate of the galaxy is at stake, and I'm happy Bioware has amp'd up the action for those players so they can drop, roll and shoot like "GI Joe", or Jane, Hoorah! On many occasions, throughout these forums, the devs/moderators have assured fans that there will be a totally cool "story" mode for those of us who would prefer to just to sit back and watch the cinematic magic, and I'm trusting that to be the case.
