I just started my DA2 playthrough and discovered the Aveline(Warrior) shield bug, which wrecked my currrent game.  It's my understanding that this bug has been patched, but I don't understand how to download and install that patch.  I'm sure some of you are laughing right about now, but please bear with me because I have zero experience patching games on the 360. 

I play stricly offline, but figured that if I signed the 360 onto the internet that the patch would probably automatically download and install itself (this is how it should work, IMO).  Once connected to the net, however, only the latest Dashboard update downloaded, but no patches for DA2 (the shield bug is still present).

At this point, I have no idea what I need to do to install the patch, and I'm getting POed.

Could somebody throw me a frickin' bone here?  Thanks.

Lol no problem. Usually you would just load up dragon age 2 and start it while connected to the internet to get the latest patches. Is this what you ended up doing?

ok mights as well ask is there a way someone can download the lastest update when the xbox is unable to be connected to the internet. i got all dlc with a internet service that has gone bankrupt. i thought i had all downloaded up to the time i lost connection. i even played the assasin dlc 3 times. but went to play on of 2 playthroughs and it tells me i need an update. well i got my winphone with internet and go to the library. so is there some where i can download an update that will let me finish the game. it may be abit before i can get the 360 online again and want to play da2
