Hey all,
Quick question, been trying to update a vault submission and no luck. Filled out the lost pw form and emailed beyond the pale and maximus and left a message with news in topic.
*crickets*
No response from the Vault in over a week. Anyone have any suggestions?

My suggestion is to use your favorite E-mail client application or WebMail client and e-mail beyondthepale directly from it. This is what I had to do to gain back access for my NWVault
account.
Make sure to use your E-mail that you entered in your NWVault account.

I have been trying to get access to my account now for 6 months...no avail.
E-Mails, etc - all go unanswered.
Basically I have given up.

I can't log on the vault anymore either, with my usual account. I never received any mail when I asked to reset my password 2 weeks ago.
BTP last replied to one of my mail a good month from now.
I was surprisingly able to log in yesterday... with my very first and "some years old" account.
'doesn't bode well...
'smells even worse.

Had the same issue, then I emailed BeyondThePale directly (PM me for his mail) and he fixed my account. At least until I changed password back to what it used to be, then my account get screwed up again... Im still auto-logged-in on my computer so I didnt bothered to do anything about it, but there is something really wrong...WebShaman wrote...

Interesting. I am curious. Is this an issue for those with older accounts? I have a more recent Vault account, and have not had this problem.

The vault account I'm having troubles with was quite recent. When these new BSN forums opened. I'm now reusing my very former one.

Glad to have been of service
If anyone has problems with logging into their accounts, it would be best to contact BTP using your own mail client. The Vault reset password mail function does not work. Please contact BTP at:

Merry Christmas everyone

You might want to disguise that e-mail address somewhat...to avoid the 'bots.

Cool. Off topic but no smokes for 1 month. Yeah for me. Since we were talking about it in another thread WS and QSW.

Actually, it's easier than I thought.
The most difficult part being... I realised I really like smoking.
Good luck.

Yep, that is your brain, trying to rationalize you getting some more...resist!
Be honest, there is NOTHING that one really "likes" about smoking! What, the cough? The smell? The bad breath? The cost? The shortness of breath?
What one really means is "my brain liked how the nicotine worked on my body and is addicted to that".

Not that 100% straight, mister WebShaman. I surprisingly don't miss it that bad, chemically, or psychologically. I know such evil could be really twisted as you're saying, but I simply, surely... could smoke one good one at night after diner, with the truest pleasure.
People, tribes, have been smoking from the beginning of times, stuff which was better, cheaper, and more natural than the kind we're ought to buy today.
Why the new brand could kill me, I have no idea, but that's the only reason, in the very end, that keeps me from falling again.
Falling like in falling in love. As you said, it's brain against heart. And for once in my life I chose the first one.
And I'm fine with that.
Maybe I should start dreaming I'm smoking...

When I quit smoking I was certain the cigarette I missed most would be the one after I ate. Actually that one was pretty easy to give up.

On the other hand, I truly feel being twice more powerful than before. No kidding!
To the point I'm driving everyone around absolutely nuts!
It just amazes me how much energy that beautiful mistress was taking away from me all these years...
"Waiting for the bus, on the other hand..."
I sung that same sadest song many times already.

for me, it will be 4 years without a cigarette on groundhog day. I smoked 2+ packs a day for 18 years. After a year or so, you will forget you smoked. Then you will be free. I quit using Chantix, and I recommend it for anyone.

Bravo! Then it's possible...

Of course it is possible - I was a 2 pack a day (marlboro) man for over 25 years - and I am now clean for 10 years going...
It is simply a matter of gathering your will...and resisting.
And do not underestimate your brain! It is a cunning, sly instrument! It WANTS a cig! Don't give in!
