So, Amazon recently had a deal where buying FFXIII-2 nets you FFXIII. I took advantage of it, and I need to know if I should invest in the DLC for FFXIII-2. Most of it is pretty cheap, so my collegian budget can handle it.
Note: I have zero interest in the alternate costumes. I just want to know about the mission packs/bonus fights. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

I'd take the battles DLCs just for the fact you can recruit them with some luck. You may avoid the costumes DLCs if you want, though I'd suggest grabbing some of the equipment ones. Some of them has an "auto-haste" equipped which can be quite useful, even though their stats may be lower than the weapons you can purchase through Chocolina's shop. Sazh's DLC is kinda useless, unless you want a pretty good Synergist monster right from the start.
Edit: Honestly, I'd suggest that you first finish XIII & XIII-2 before thinking of purchasing anything else online... You could regret it later. I bought a bunch of DLCs and now I'm stuck with these games. I could trade them for credits or sell them, but the fact is, once you have the DLCs in your PSN or XBOX Live account you're screwed. I rarely grab DLCs unless I'm pretty sure I'll keep the games.

If your going to get into FF 13-2 it's best to play FF 13 and suffer though the 30-40 hour tutorial before hitting chapter 10 than the real game starts. You'll learn the battle system and most of that battle system does get carried over from 13 to 13-2. The only difference is the 3rd party member is monster/DLC crystals from the collisum. So I hope that helps anyone getting into the game.

Forgot to post this when I saw it. The pic with Noel makes me want to die laughing, it's pure "haters gonna hate". And Sazh looks god like in that suit.

I guess you can still get some good stuff out of a dead(for now..) video game series, that became a movie series. Really becoming a fashion ad is good for Final Fantasy.

Out of the four Lighting and Sazh looks great. Disappointed no Serah. Pretty good gaming is getting notice for something in art instead of us snipering each other all day.
Tip that casino in FF 13-2 is EVIL.
