1. Command and Conquer: Generals (This was my favorite game for like seven years. And I totally SQUEEd when I found out the news, and am still so incredibly pumped)
2. Hammer and Sickle. This wasn't mine, I borrowed it from a friend, but I played it a ton of times. It's a tactical RPG that has an extremely extremely odd lack of general knowledge. Like NOBODY knows about this game.
3. ME series. Seriously, when since now has not just one, but multiple games carried a cohesive story with a single, player-defined character over five+ days of game time? It's really unparalleled, I feel.

Try "Silent Storm" and "Silent Storm Sentinels" - both are like prequels to H&S - the same mechanics, the same engine.
The action takes place in WW2 and imo they are better than H&S.

2. Final Fantasy XIII
3. Mass Effect 2
4. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
5. Mario Kart 64
6. Halo Series (Excluding Reach, Anniversery, and ODST. So basically just CE,2, and 3)
7. Super Mario 64
8. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
9. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
10. Star Wars Battle Front II (Me and my three brothers playing split screen. At least 300 hours played in total.)
11. Super Smash Brothers Melee
12. Gran Turismo 4
These are in so specific order of best to worst or anything. Just a bunch of the games that I can't decide which I like the best. I might be missing something but the fact that I can't remember them right now probably means they aren't that near and dear.

Crusader Kings - "most hours of fun"
I didn't find that one. I will buy Crusader Kings II instead next year
What about Knights of Honor? It was very satisfying. I've expanded many empires! Byzantine Empire, Serbia, Germany, England, Novgorod and for the last time Bohemia.

I've heard about them. Unfortunately, I refuse to buy things online so I'm a little stuck in that area.
And, i rather like the Cold War idea. Along with you being able to walk around places and all--something during WW2 sounds like it would be all-out war.

I'm also a fan of Pokémon Yellow - that game is the reason I'm a gamer now. I've played it to death and beyond and I'm still not tired of it.
The Mass Effect series is my favorite from this generation.
Noteworthy games: The Hitman series, Ratchet & Clank, Skyrim, Dragon Age, Demon's Souls and many others.

It had amazing graphics,
The characters were likable and felt real,
It has a spectacular story that touched me in ways no game or movie has ever before.
Great si fi elements.

I loved pretty much all the LucasArts adventure games (notably Monkey Island 1&2, Day of the Tentacle and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis), they were great then when I was a child and they are still great now. As much as I like them though, they're kinda short, so let's move on.
Max Payne, KotOR 1&2 and Mass Effect are all games I finished at least a dozen times and I have installed them on my PC right now.
Mass Effect is probably my favourite single player game of all time, but it's not the game that gave me the most hours of fun.
That game is Dark Age of Camelot: on my last character alone I think I had close to 2000 hours of play.

TBH I never played Knights of Honor. Is it similar to Stronghold ?
And Crusader Kings 2 - yep 2012-II-7. My personal GOTY for 2012 no doubts here.

Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines - many ways to solve quests, very good writing and characters. I've replayed this game a lot of times on my brother's old computer. Even with up to 5-minute load times, I still found it enjoyable.

Since you ask which one gave me the most hours of enjoyment and never got old, that one is easy:
Grandia
This game spans 4 discs on the Playstation 1 and it was ported from the Sega Saturn. The game case boasted 80 hours of gameplay.
Well, it was right, and this 80 hours claimed was if you didn't go through any of the optional dungeons. My first time through, took me 180 because I had to do somethings in order to make sure I could beat the final boss. My brother got there before me and he wasn't strong enough.
In the game, you get a number of party members that are only temporary and then leave you for good, think the original Final Fantasy IV if you played it. But there was a catch, once one of these party members left your party, they left behind skill books that contained a fraction of the experience they gained with their weapon types and magic that you could use on any character to raise the corresponding skill, provided the character has that skill.
so, what I did was, I didn't move on to where these people left til I got their skills up so high that it wasn't worth fighting the enemies around there to raise them.
I spent 300 hours on this playthrough and it was totally worth it.

1) Portal 2
2) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
3) Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
As a puzzle game, I can't say Portal 2 "never gets old", but the presentation and characters were excellent and not overly done. I don't think I've ever laughed quite so hard so regularly in a video game.
Ocarina of Time was just an incredibly fun combination of world, dungeon, and combat design.
And KotOR was my first venture into the interactive, story-based RPG genre. And I still think it has one of Bioware's best stories, characters, and atmosphere.

Planescape because it is, in my opinion, the single greatest RPG ever created.
Mask of the Betrayer because it restored my faith in humanity after playing so many boring, cliché RPGs full of boring stories and dullard characters.
And Tetris, because it kept me sane when my net went down the toilet and i was left with nothing but a Gameboy for 2 weeks.
