I don't believe, that this thread will be close. Beside this we have here an origin-thread over 90 pages long that is still open.

But the message that Chris sends is quite clear. It means "shut up!"

And I hate orders!

I'm just sad because for a minute it seemed like Chris was going to help us out and actively get some answers but then a switch flipped and now it's just "when we have that information we'll tell you..." and complete lockdown on any discussion.

When? March? If it takes that long to find out the truth and it turns out that ME3 does require the Origin client, I'm just not purchasing it, which is sad because I <3 Bioware but I can not comfortably support EA's business practices.

Thanks for the link by the way, I appreciate it, probably wouldn't have found this thread otherwise :)

I have being sending Chris " I am become death, the destroyer of threads " Priestly an up date every day since he locked the last Origin thread, Basically keeping count of how many days had passed since he locked the thread with out the Origin news...
Anyway hes put me on his Ignore list... LOL.

I also asked him ( b4 for i was put on his ignore list )  why Stanley Woo promised an answer to Origin Within a
FAQ that was supposed to be realeased within  1-2 days of  Woo locking
the previous Origin thread... and guess what, no answer.

Anyway As you guys can see I'm keeping a day count til Origin news is released in my sig, maybe you guys should do the same or we could make a banner or something that says the same thing...

That prove me theory that BioWare just try to conduct the politics of silence and put all discussions about Origin to an end until this matter is gone to the forgotten realms.

Just like Origin (oh, the irony), Bullfrog, Westwood and a lot of other studios. EA has quite the tradition of buying developers, make some quick coin with their licenses and killing them off in the process. Usually the first sign of decline is the (more or less) rapid decrease of qualitiy of a game series that used to be loved by a lot of fans. C&C was such an example and right now I am a bit sceptic about ME 3. ME 2 was a great game, but a lot more shooter like than its predecessor. Don´t get me wrong here, I love shooter and I enjoyed the skirmishes on hard, but the series seems to be re-directed to fit the needs of the traditionally more impatient console gamer. More quick coin this way, but the series itself suffers. And I am very doubtful about  the new MP part. Forcibly tacking an MP part onto a sheer SP series seems to be so much EA...

Hi guys, i want just let you know what EA is doing, i cant believe it and wrote this becouse i have no words for this.

if you already know this then sorry for this post.:(

EA today announced that the Koenigsegg CCX "Elite" Edition, the first
"premium elite" car to hit Need for Speed World, is now available in the
in-game store for $100. For those who feel that's a bit pricey, it is
currently on sale for $75 through December 21.

www.gamespot.com/news/ea-rolls-out-100-car-for-need-for-speed-world-6347632
and here
www.theorigin.de/wordpress/

thats
what they said before if you try to cheat or use any hack-tools your
account will be banned permanently! And now they selling this cheat car.

What they thinking about his customers? "Today we try to scam the rich people's with a 100$ polygon and pixel."
I cant understand wich ways try EA to go. i see it in the future: " a special DLC comes out... HEADSHOT GUN
With Invisible-Wall-Detect zoom" 100$+ buy it now and get the ultimate
rank in this multiplayer game. I'm so tired about this is not a fair
gameplay for players who dont have so much money to invested in these
mmorpgs (free).  :crying:

Yes for sure the game developers want to make us happy and we try to make the feedback from our comunity to real. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/bandit.png[/smilie] the developers can take his pie in the sky for his self >.> i dont believe anything about these comments anymore becouse it is useless. :crying:

now i feel me much better. :D but i still keep my eyes on the game developers <_<. NFS World is R.I.P now NFS The Run is running out... Battlefield 3 a real World War in few years... becouse comunity vs the game developers. seriously who like this way?? 100$ for pixel what everyone can make this with paint?

i missed the old years so much... just put the games that you want to play in your pc/console and play.

Sorry guys for my bad english but i'll try my best to fix it in the future xD. have a nice day all

Yeah! And in one month Bioware says:
Today we proudly announce that Mass Effect 3 will require EA´s Origin.
Why?
Simply because no one has complained about Origin in the last days. And because of this, we believe our Community is now satisfied with Origin... :?

No, no fugitives just fighters of privacy. ;)

To be honest, I think we are at a paradox of sorts now, because of the way Chris acts.

We want them to answer our questions and keep our wariness of Origin in their mind, but we also know that Chris will lock down anything in this vein that he stumbles upon for some reason.

So we want both to remain at focus and visible with our questions/opinions, but also keep it hidden from Chris so we can actually keep these discussions in the bioware forums.

Bioware is a part of this. They're not innocent here at all. Those who are can't speak out because they'd be fired in an instant.

They're trying to silence the truth by closing the threads, hoping it will be forgotten. If someone is interested, I have an idea. PM me.

no ....no.... i think :P

€A think this will be forgotten, i already told all my friends to where going to get BF3 that origin is a spyware, then they didnt buy it, and all ppl who actualy ask me about it i tell them, mouth to mouth is a better marketing, if they dont belive i just tell them to google it and that do the trick too

If you call it conspiracy theories to look at actual things happening (Chris locking any thread he finds where people discuss Origin) and add common sense (a company like EA need a common PR-policy that states official statements against company products is a no go for employees), then so be it.

You and I have a different perception of when to use that particular wording in that case, then.

EA has enough issues with trying to convince consumers to install Origin as it is, imagine if some of its own employees started to make negative statements about the program on official records. The PR damage would be too big for EA to let slide.

Bioware employees are pretty much tied up at their hands and feet in what they can make of statements in this case regarding Origin.
