Strongest squad member?

Strength isn't always the most useful thing about a squaddie, though. For instance, I find Kaidan's versatility extremely valuable. I understand many find Miranda useful for the same reason, though it's hard for me to go from the amazing skill/power list of an ME1 sentinel to the ME2 version.

Define "strongest". Do you mean "physically strongest" (can lift most weights etc?) then I would say Wrex. Do you mean "strongest endurance" (takes most punishment and continues) I woudl say Legion. Do you mean "stongest most overall power" (overall most destructive) I would say Samara.
If you mean strongest smelliest (odor) I would say Mordin. Too much anticeptic. Eww.
No, no, no Chris you've got it all wrong....Thane beats Mordin for the smelliest and Jack is probably more destructive than Samara. You can't be messing things up like that....

Then followed by Jack, if you're going by the ability to just kill someone dead. Samara and Liara would also have powerful biotics.
Miranda, Garrus and Wrex would probably be the most interesting fight though, since they're all fairly well rounded. I'd put Wrex as a win for that, unless Miranda outsmarted both of them.

Legion probably. Never gets tired, doesn't have to sleep. So long as he's apt enough, all he has to do is wait someone out.

Wrex outsmarted? I don't know about that, he is probably the most experience out of everyone. Centuries of experience locked in that noggin of his.

From a story perspective, eh. I don't know. Samara? Wrex? They're both centuries old killing machines, and all.

Wrex, hands down.
1. He's Biotic.
2. He's a Krogan, which means he regenerates health faster than everyone else, except maytbe for Grunt since he's "pure". Being a Krogan also means he's stronger, faster than most, and when the bloodrage kicks in, if it kicks in, he will be even stronger and faster for a time. He is more resilient as well.
3. He is several houndred years old, which means he has A LOT of experience. And he beats the crap out of Asari commandos. (Remember his story about that commando he fought on that space station, which possibly could be Aria, which I hope since that would be a cool thing to get to know in ME3)
4. ......
5. PROFIT!
Agreed Wrex > all
Also hilarious reference.

Nope, I stand by my claims. While Jack is arguably as powerful as Samara, Samara has had much more/longer time to harness and practice their power. It is not enough to be as powerful as an explosion, it is knowing how to channel the power. Thats why Samara edges out Jack.
And as for Thane vs Mordin, that is lizards vs. amphibians. Lizards have no smell, while toads do. Mordin wins.

Plus Legion has a drone too so that would make it 4 on team Tali.
I'd mention the little fact that if anyone threatened Tali, Shep would go berserk and kill them with a coffee cup but that would seem like overkill....

In all seriousness, I think "strength" implies other attributes such as tenacity and versatility, not just how much he can smash and throw things. Garrus has all of that in spades.
I know it's not an obvious pick; heck, initially my gut reflex was to say either Wrex or Samara. But then I thought about it, and I realized that I bring Garrus along on more missions than those two combined. I almost never leave the ship without him, both in ME1 and ME2. Why? Because he's a great squaddie to have for the two classes I play the most: Infiltrator and Vanguard. As an Infiltrator, he's your buddy, and you two can camp out and snipe enemies from across the map without even getting a scratch. As a Vanguard, Garrus watches your rear end when you charge in and whip out the shotgun. If you keep him at range, he rarely ever dies, but he can also take hits if the enemy gets too close.
So, both gameplay-wise and story-wise, he gets my vote for "strongest squaddie." He's hailed in the Archangel dossier as a brilliant tactician, and he held off three mercenary groups at once, not to mention surviving serious injuries on his recruitment mission. On the battlefield, he's always got your back. He's also got strength of character: he always wants to do the right thing, or at least what he feels is the right thing. He has a definite sense of right and wrong, and he's incredibly loyal. You can have the strongest, beefiest guy with the best biotics...but when push comes to shove, I'll take Garrus over that guy any day.

Don't know about Tekken, but if we are speaking about fighter mechanics on rather small arena, then I really don't know what or who can stop Wrex. At least for long enough to kill him.

I do....a single well placed round from Legion's widow would drop Wrex like a rock.....it would go through his biotic barriers like hot knife through butter plus Legion can make the necessary split second computations to get him right in the eye too...so long wrex.
