we seem to be forgetting about Samaras daughter, Morinth who you can chose not to kill, she might win on account of seduction and melting your brain.

the only one who could counter her is legion since reproduction and love making for him is only possible with another computer.... i just got a thought, immagine if fem shep and legion could hook up in ME3? id laugh my pants off

Matter of opinion and playstyle. My team as an infiltrator in ME1 consisted of Ash and Kaidan. In 2, same class, Thane/Miranda and Garrus.

Wouldn't this go to Shepard?

Since the Commander IS part of the squad, after all.

Samara.
She is the oldest and most experienced member, her biotics are incredibly strong and her will also.
No doubt, Samara hands down!
After that Wrex.
Then it gets close, maybe Zaeed or Liara.

In a 1v1 death match I'd put my money on Miranda. Warp-Overload can strip any defence from other squaddies. Aside from that, slam is the power I'd want in a death match.
Well Liara might edge her out with with singularity and stasis.

Gameplaywise= Liara rapes all= Stasis =INSTANT death for one character even on insanity.

It instangibs Armored husks, and knocks out Scirons and YMIR mechs.

Why Tekken? Because you knew that if you'd say 'Dead or Alive', the answer would be too easy? Kasumi of course!

You are pretty much looking at a biotic. Story-wise I'd put Samara top of the list as she has training, centuries of experience, wisdom, perhaps the highest level of Biotics achievable, and she has a solid temperament. Jack is pretty powerful and could probably match Samara on a Biotic level but not in any other area where Samara succeeds. Miranda is also a powerful Biotic but not pushed to the level of power that Jack is. Liara should probably be around Miranda level, which she was in ME2, but in ME1 a skilled up and armored Liara was more powerful than any other Biotic in the game(s) so far.

Wrex wouldn't be that far off. He has experience and he's very strong and hard to kill. If he caught a Biotic in the midst of summing up their abilities (as oppose to unleashing) it be game over fast.

In a straight-up "2 enter, 1 leave" Tekken-fight I'd say Wrex. He has powerful biotics nearly equal to that of a matriarch, centuries of combat experience, endurance almost as good as Grunt, and the physical power inherent in all Krogan. That and he reminds me of Canderous Ordo. Wrex would definitely get my pick.

If it was a shootout in a spacious room with plenty of cover I'd say Miranda or Garrus. Miranda is tactically the smartest of your squaddies and has the ability to bring her smarts to bear. Biotics, tech, and weapon expert in every sense of the word. Then we have Garrus who has also proven himself as a tactical genius capable of utilizing not just his technical expertise but also his extensive weapon skills.

Hmm... I think I'll give it to Garrus. Between his time in the Turian military, C-Sec, missions with Shepard, and times spent as a Space Batman I'd say his combat experience would help balance out against Miranda's biotics. Now for the fun part: Wrex vs Garrus!

Probably Grunt. He's a krogan super-soldier, maybe even stronger than Wrex in some respects. Yes he's unstable, leastways till the rite, but his durability and him being a Krogan makes him the strongest.

@Oblivious_ i think Wrex having a biotic power equal to a matriarch's is an exaggeration. Remember these lines: "Have you ever faced an Asari matriach? Few can."

You seem to be forgetting that Wrex is also biotic.

No, no, no Chris you've got it all wrong....Thane beats Mordin for the smelliest and Jack is probably more destructive than Samara. You can't be messing things up like that....

Nope, I stand by my claims. While Jack is arguably as powerful as Samara, Samara has had much more/longer time to harness and practice their power. It is not enough to be as powerful as an explosion, it is knowing how to channel the power. Thats why Samara edges out Jack.

And as for Thane vs Mordin, that is lizards vs. amphibians. Lizards have no smell, while toads do. Mordin wins. :P

I've always been wondering what the official answer to Jack vs. Samara was...

Also a Samara, Wrex, Shepard and Legion team would be amazing :police:

I said nearly ;) But yeah, I'm just going off what I remember from ME1. I think it was mentioned how Matriarchs and Battlemasters were the elite when it came to biotic capabilities. I'm going from memory though, but it doesn't change the fact that Wrex is still a formidable biotic as I have seen in the ME3 demo.

Jacks is the strongest HUMAN biotic.... After Shepard.

And even the best human biotics comes of as average compared to the best of the Asari.

Samara and Liara are superior to Jack. In both experience and capability.

I'm loving the love for samara... I felt like she was undervalued. Glad to know people at least think she's a contender! :D

There is a video in Lotsb. Samara can stop one of those flying cars of Illium by casually pulling.

That far more impressive than any thing Jack has done.

Jack is just a crazy **** who acts without thinking.
Samara would outclass her alone if only because of her peace of mind.

Same for Grunt.
He is resilient and strong, but his brain, if it even exists, is smaller then an ants brain.
Wrex would kill him with blinded eyes.

You haven't actually paid much attention to Grunt's conversation, have you?  You also neglect the fact that Wrex can be just as impulsive and ruled by emotion. He just isn't like that as often, owing to their age difference.

His conversations consist of his love for senseless violence and fighting.
Pseudo-philosophic sentences don't make him intelligent.

Also, even if he might become a bit calmer and more reasonable in a few hundret years, we talk about the crew members in their current state.
And I doubt that he will change that much. He was 'programmed' to fight.

Okeer implanted strategies from greatest Krogan Battlemasters in Grunt. Remember how he was familiar with the intricacies of space combat?
