Christmas break, Chris?

Seriously, the Reapers are reaping our galaxy and you have "christmas break"?

Ah, but they won't be reaping until Bioware finishes the game my dear Scrooge. :P They're just giving Shepard more time to prepare.

I wish I got a one/two week Christmas break. I'm working Christmas eve this year. :(

Bioware people are spoiled. Christmas holidays? Really? Aren't you just glad you are spending 20 hours per day coding and tweaking the most awesome game ever?

Next thing you'll say is that you take advantage of that obsolete tradition of pausing work in "weekends", to "see your family", or to "sleep", and such inanities.

Spoiled I say.

(runs away)

Well, if it's any consolation, there are some people who ACTUALLY think this way, like my old boss

Yep. We get 2 weeks off (except the hard working ME3 team who get 1 week off). We all have family, spouces, BF/GFs that want to see us, kids that have forgotten their parents faces during ME3 crunch, etc.

Plus, it lowers the murder rate here at the studio.

How bad is the murder rate now?

Well I think we could manage to wait for news about the demo till next year. I mean the press just had a full event at Bioware HQ last week, from which we will see a lot of new cool stuff soon.

Or is there a fixed date for the press to talk about what has been shown? (chris?)

There always is a fixed date. The question is when is it set this time. I hop it before end of the year :(

Just don't have the two of them in the same room at the same time; could get ugly.

Would have been a nice Christmas present if it did come out before Christmas but sigh, I understand.

Proves my point when I said BioWare is incapable of marketing two projects at the same time. :pinched:

Two weeks of Skyrim! :D (started it earlier this week and am already regretting it. This game sucks the social life out of you)

Hopefully they finish ME3 before the envitable Necromorph outbreak. Though I guess they'll be okay since they have Ser Isacc to look after them.

These people don't have any idea how good they have it. Who needs "lunch" or "bathroom breaks." Back in my day we only ate once a day and had no bathrooms. Damn kids these days, sit in a comfy chair for only 22 hours a day writing codes and painting areas. Heck, back in my day we were awake 24/7 just walking from our home to our job. I bet the guys at Bioware haven't even seen the sun! They just sit in those chairs all day.

Lazy, lazy people <_<

In my case, my wife will be out of town over the break, so I will be playing SWTOR and reading the forums ALL BREAK LONG.

No rest for you wicked, and all that.

We used to get up in the morning at 10 O'clock at night half an hour before we went to bed, eat a lump of cold poison, work 29 hours a day down mill and pay mill owner for permission to come to work and when we got home our dad would kill us and dance about on our graves singing 'Hallelujah'!

But you try and tell the young people of today that... they won't believe you.
