But yes, I do love this armor and I love that we can finally put concerns about 'sexualization' in regards to Ashley to rest. It's a great suit of armor and she looks confident and strong and sexy in it, which is exactly how she should always look.
There's nothing I can say here that others haven't already said but still... very good stuff.

Lol she has been sexualized. Look at the concept art of her jump suit from the Art of Mass Effect preview, and you'll see written in the description that she's been given sex appeal. I just hope they don't change her personality from the first game. She seems to be the new Miranda.

Ok for the people who keep susggesting the S in S1 is Specter, keep in mind the N in N7 is Specialist. So it doesn't draw directly from the first letter.

Second, how could anyone ranked "1" be give the honor of being a specter? That downright nonsense. In fact how could anyone NOT ranked "7" be given it. Assuming they would create the rank of 7 for one guy, Shep, there have to be more 7's around to promote to specter before Ash gets a go. I don't know what the designations are besides "N" but I saw earlier someone said Ash was a B. Which would suggest that B was a shocktroop or something of that nature. So her armor should say B7 now.

Yeah well, if she's still being given armor and bigish guns then that's a step up from the Miranda side of the spectrum. She's most certainly been sexualized, but the presence of the armor tells me that it won't have to be an issue to people who don't want it to be.
If one doesn't want her to be overtly sexualized, give her the kickass armor. I can live with Ashley being sexier because frankly I always did find her sexy.

All I'm saying is that I had been worried that because Bioware had given her the previous outfit and sexed her up it meant they had forgotten that she is a badass lady space marine soldier. This armor gives me reason to believe this is not the case.

Nihlus was pretty low on the military rank structure and considered for the Spectres. Garrus was to even when he was a cop.

S1 prolly means standard 1.  Like an armor model?  Lol be funny if she just broke the armor out of the brand spanking new packaging and didn't even get to apply the N7 patch because of the Reapers ruining things.

Nice as that may be, for those of us who don't want to romance her, we don't exactly have that option.

What I think Iakus is saying is that Ashley wasn't xenophobic at all in ME by putting xenophobia in quotes.
