I see Bioware continues to use the silly boob-armors.

I would LOVE it if video game designers stopped putting female characters into silly boob-armor, especially in fantasy settings, but I doubt it will happen any time soon.  It's exactly the same model as FemShep's ME2 default N7 armor, so it's no better/worse than what we're already acquainted with.

Although, can Ashley get high resolution textures this time?  Knowing that FemShep's ME2 armor texture was so much lower quality than MaleShep's was just sad.

I agree with you on the Boob armour. It could be part of the Alliance's WMD (Weapons of Mass Distraction) program, but it should just have one standard N7 unisex armour to fit all. But don't take away all the boobs, some people might get confused. Just on the armour.

I don't think it's going to change for ME3 though. Maybe in future ME games?

I love how this whole moulded armor thing is all of a sudden a big deal, even though female armor has been like that since ME1.

What I noticed is that while Kaidan's armor is original (shoulder pads), Ashley simply dons a ME2 N7 repaint. Rush job on Bioware's part? :P Juuust kidding.

Kaidan's is a reskin of the Kestral Armor.

Why don't people get that not trusting a group of people is very different from hating them and wanting to crush them under your heel? Ashley also learns to mostly trust aliens in ME1. She even hates Cerberus and the Terra Firma Party for BEING RACISTS! Seriously people, check out Ashley's comments about the pro-human group Cerberus and the anti-alien Terra Firma Party.

Oh well, haters gonna hate.

They don't want to acknowledge any of that because it doesn't fit their view.  It's probably one of many things they share with Fox News: willful ignorance.

After those 2, just a generic armor is great.

True, but both still have high heels which is not exactly suited for combat.

Though then again, Ashley never had high heels in her fir seen outfit so no need to be mentioned then.

Depending on which armor you took, it varied from "the armor has to have room for the body" to "stipperific".

I don't get why people are seemingly incapable of understanding that Jack, Samara, and Miranda AREN'T WEARING ARMOR! NO! This is not "Bioware's version of armor". It is "Bioware's version of a jumpsuit (equivalent).

Seriously. People. Stop posting images of Miranda and friends, just because you don't know how to properly define armor. Kasumi and Tali also don't wear armor, but nobody complains about them.

I support Ashley's breasts for ME3. Wait...umm...I mean I have no problem with her molded armor. Yeah, that's what I meant.

Kasumi is supposed to be a ninja-like character, though. It'd be a bit weird if she suddenly starts jumping all over the place dressed in heavy armor.

Tali gets at least some armor via the AA outfit.

With the rest, there's really no excuse beyond looks.

Thus my earlier statements to the effect of "At least Ashley is wearing armor..."

And Miranda is supposed to be an agent. Thane, an assassin. Samara, a warrior monk. Mordin, a doctor. There clothing clearly reflects WHAT they are supposed to specialize in ABOVE all.

So does Miranda. In fact, she gets pretty hefty armor. I see no mention of it in this argument though (until now).

The excuse is so clear, you probably think its invisible: some of the best fighters in the galaxy...AREN'T soldiers! *gasp*

@Cutter, my comment was directed more towards Mesina2.

Kasumi and Tali aren't "bouncing in the breeze" like Miranda, Samara, and Jack (to quote Gabby).  Kasumi and Tali don't wear armor, but at least their cleavage isn't exposed to the vacuum of space.  So long as Ashley wears armor into battle, I won't complain about boob-plates.  If boob-plates are good enough for FemShep (ME2), then they're good enough for Ashley (ME3).

Edit: Had to address this.

So Miranda and Samara are supposed to specialize in being prostitutes?

Miranda gets an armour with AA outfit too. About Tali, I don't see undestand, people complained for her normal outfit in ME2? She wore a similar one in ME, and nobody complained. I liked Tali's AA outfit, but imo Miranda, Thane, Jack and Jacob needed more than her an armour.
Though I think that the lowest things in ME2 squadmate's outfit was Garrus's one<_<
About Ashley, I really like her armour.

They could've easily put a light armour, like the one we have in ME. Thane's AA outfit was perfect, with a light armour under his coat (though I'm not too fond of the sunglasses). They could've easily done this for the vanilla game for all the characters without armours in ME2.

Jack and Miranda can wear heavier clothes if you so choose. Sure its DLC, but it still solves your problem. And if you want DLC for Samara and the other characters, make a thread pleading BW to come out with alternative pack 3. I'm sure they'd at least respond if enough people joined in.

Kasumi and Tali don't wear armor, but at least their cleavage isn't exposed to the vacuum of space.

There is never a moment in ME2 where the player is exposed to the vacuum. Even the moon of Kopis (prothean dig site) had atmosphere and mild temperatures. The only section that I can point to that is a bit fuzzy is the exposed hull of the collector ship-- and even then we can see that collectors can "fly" with wins, which means that there had to have been some kind of atmosphere in there.

So long as Ashley wears armor into battle, I won't complain about boob-plates.  If boob-plates are good enough for FemShep (ME2), then they're good enough for Ashley (ME3).

Agreed.
