Plus a decent model of shoe, but that's details hehe.

Well then I will be sure to tell my cousin she needs to start wearing heels out on deployment.

I didn't say it was easy, I judge it to be possible, and quite usefull if you have the balance and put in the time to practice.

But very impractical. I don't bother with heels much, but I somehow doubt the end of a stilleto (or any other heel) would be of much use at all against husks and profesional merc soldiers in HEAVY ARMOR. Better to just go with the boots for balance. 

You can say you are practiced with heels, but (assuming we are in a melee situation) when that cerberus mook come up and bashes you with his stun baton, or rams you with a riot shield, all while various mooks are gunning for you...

No I just don't see the advantage of heels in combat. I think my cousin would agree, i'll ask her opinon on ashley the next time I get to talk to her.

You know what Ashley's new (sexier or tackier, depending on your taste) makeup and droopy eyelids, in every picture so far, reminds me of? -Somebody who is trying to cover up a severe drinking problem. (...typically resulting in the opposite effect.)

That might actually be a somewhat interesting character development direction, should BW have gone that way; Still blaming herself for her unit on Eden Prime and then Alenko? Family name redeemed in the eyes of everybody but her own subconsious self? The loss of Shepard *that* crushing?

Yes, yes, the sleepy look is also typical for a calm and assured, or haughty demeanor, but the whole ensemble...

Looks awesome. I don't have much of a problem with the other outfit either nor the hair. I just think her face looks WAY different. Doesn't look like Ashley to me. Her face looks completely unfamiliar.

Yeah well, if she's still being given armor and bigish guns then that's a step up from the Miranda side of the spectrum. She's most certainly been sexualized, but the presence of the armor tells me that it won't have to be an issue to people who don't want it to be.
If one doesn't want her to be overtly sexualized, give her the kickass armor. I can live with Ashley being sexier because frankly I always did find her sexy.

All I'm saying is that I had been worried that because Bioware had given her the previous outfit and sexed her up it meant they had forgotten that she is a badass lady space marine soldier. This armor gives me reason to believe this is not the case.

I agree with you, but as I said I just hope they don't change her personality to represent the new sex appeal they want to give her. Keep it consistent.

Ashley is a lot less ugly now, I may have to reconsider now my plan to punch her in the face the secondI see her for her grossly disrespecting me on Horizon. Im still probably gonna be a jerk to her which may work as a way of flirting. I hope I can have an angry revenge sex scene with her and then go back to being with Miranda when its done and my Shep gets it out of his system. Im also determined to sleep with Liara behind both of their backs, I know she wants it and has since I almost had sex with her in the first game. In Lair of the Shadow Broker she still definitely wanted it, though she was totally blowing up my Shep's spot about Miranda. Seriously Bioware, let my Shep be the player he would be in reality. In ME2 I had Tali and Jack also down for some loving, why cant my Shep just get all the girls who want him.

Yeah, was gonna say the same thing, espeically since it would sound really bad if she was the lowest rank in that supposed branch of the Alliance and yet was still chosen and made into a Spectre.

Nobody knows what S1 means because I think it's nowhere in Mass effect. We will probably learn more in M3 about it.
