Your name is very fitting.

I have no idea what you're quoting but you're correct.

I'm wondering why is there some complaining about Shepard's out of character ****ttail dress which was specifically designed for a different character. Also Shepard doesn't even like it.

It doesn't matter either way anyway since the topic we seem to be on isn't about Ashley's armor.

Well, it was really just Killjoy making a fuss over that.  Also: amusing that the braindead forum language filter censors c_ocktail.

Just using the quote system to speak to him directly.

Oh, yes, dressing in a leather minidress and looking like she should be serving the drinks really fits the "Allison Gunn, badass mercenary commander" profile... Image IPB

LoL @ people who think "you're name is very fitting" is an insult or some sort of world-shattering revelation.

There is nothing wrong with thread derailment. You should embrace it.

So, about FemShep's dress; I thought it was fine except when she sat down on the crate in that one conversation to talk to Garrus. I mean, I know that was the scene where she first expressed her interest in him, but she really didn't need to give him the visual aid.

Allison Gunn may actually like dressing like that at a party but then like putting armor on during combat. All we know is that she is a badass mercenary. I doubt she acts like a badass merc all the time.  Personally I don't care since it was Kasumi's choice to have Shep dress like that even though Shep didn't really approve of it.

Again I wish to get back on topic so might as well get off of this.

Ashley's armor looks good enough, I think.

Just wish I could replace that ugly piece of cloth they call a uniform that she'll wear on the Normandy with something that looks a little more respectable.

Eh whatever killjoy has a right to his or her opinion no matter how much I disagree with it.

I wish marketing would throw us a bone like this every now and again. A simple in-game picture with Ash in armor has obviously gone a long way. *looks at 35+ pages*

Having seen other angles of Ashley's new armor, I do have to say that the design is less "naked-tastic" than it first appeared.   There are a couple of rediculous designs that really do look like their main function is not to protect the upper torso, but instead to strongly mimic the appeance of naked breasts.

Don't forget the "Ashley needs more revealing armour" and "Ash looks like Kim Kardashian" spin-off threads that also resulted from the pic. Unfortunately, those ones got locked, which is a shame, because they were really entertaining.

I said what not who.

Edit: Unless you were purposely just quoting the name.

Not to mention that the dress is VERY modest. If Cutter is getting a ridiculously oversexed vibe from that dress, than (s)he's obviously never left the house.

Seriously, my grandmother could wear a dress like that.

"durr, da boob cups on da dress es horrible"

No its not. The boob section of the dress is also incredibly modest.

The only problem someone could have with it is the way the chest seems a bit pronounced but even then it isn't really more pronounced than many dresses I've seen.

Now lets go back to the Ashley armor topic. While the armor is pretty nice I would like to modify the chest plate and change it to more of a Kestrol armor chest plate. I've always liked that one better.

There is no way a leather minidress is "modest", and that is a low neckline. Lower, and you'd start risking things peaking out that shouldn't, at least in the US.

Never said it was vulgar or indescent.

Just that's a vast departure both the rest of the personality that femShep fits most easily into based on what we see in the game, anything else she has to wear, and anything fitting a merc commander who wants to be taken seriously as a business woman instead of eyecandy.

Where are you getting this "leather" thing from?  It's obviously supposed to be fabric.

Mass Effect texturing. Hair can look like plastic sometimes doesn't mean it is.

Really?

Let's compare this image (especially on the right):

With this image:

Sure looks like the same material, and the first link is specifically to an image of leather dresses.  Note the way it creases, the distinctive blend of matte and gloss qualities, the apparent thickness of the material, etc.

People are complaining about THAT dress? Wow.

It's about as modest and subtle as you can get.

Yeah, I think this thread is beyond redemption. Leave it to BSN to f*ck up a good thing in only a couple of days....
