So... there should be man-hating Extremist Asari?

For fairness and balance, yes.

Have a dude hit on BroShep, too.  Because, you know, the Consort.  And Shiala.

Being hit on by the consort or shiala is not the same as being called a stripper though.

A chauvinist ****** making cat-calls or being demeaning to women for simply being women is not a stretch. I don't think I have really seen the reverse where a woman tried to make a man uncomfortable based on his gender.

But then again I don't get out much lately.

And how is that relevant to a video game? I think you should figure that out.

By that logic, they should all just fight naked.  With their fists.

Don't worry, the bullets can't hurt you.  Just a videogame.

This.

Let me also add that Mass Effect is not completely disconnected from our own universe. Quite the opposite: for all practical purposes, the MEverse IS our universe, just 170-ish years in the future. Also, the presence of fantastic sci-fi elements (FTL travel, spaceships, aliens, etc.) does not preclude basic common sense when it comes to the mundane things. A block of wood is still lighter than a block of lead. If you jump in the air on a planet you eventually come down. Humans still cannot survive in vacuum without special equipment and sealed suits. Long, unkempt hair is still higher maintenance than short hair, especially if you can't take a shower every day because you're in the middle of a warzone.

I'd rather not have a Anders going on in ME3, though. That'd be a little bit too awkward.

You know what annoyed me, though?  BroShep gets a kiss from Gianna, but FemShep gets called a stripper.  THANKS, Bioware.

It's part of an interrupt: extra renegade points for her.

All I see is a lot of  'me me me!' in that post, just what you want.  You seem to be forgetting that Ash is a Spectre, she doesn't have to follow military protocol.
I have no problem with characters changing hairstyles.

Enjoy your helmets. Hope Ash can breathe.

Nash is a little militant when it comes to hte hair/helmet thing.  Me?  Can't complain, especially when my FemSheps look like this:

HAIR IN THE EYES WHAT also I don't put helmets on much lol.

Yes militant, military family. :P Hair in the eyes is a big no no.

First pic is a mod, second pic isn't really military. In any case I don't count player custom characters, I mean anything can happen there, like bright pink armor.

All she kissed on my Shep was the side of his helmet. And god knows where that thing has been. :P

I'm not a female, and I hate Ashley's casual clothes. Stands out like a sore thumb during the hearing on Earth.

It's a win-lose then.
In the end, I'm fine with the changes and don't let minor details bother me... so I'm happy.

Oh, he mad.

On-topic: I hope there's a way to mod minor textures/colors in the singleplayer campaign that won't lock me out of multiplayer.  If I can just turn those awful white tights black or dark blue or something, perfection.

I'm saying femshep is created entirely by the player and can look however the player wants, especially with modding.

I doubt fiddling with your singleplayer save will matter in the least.  Your MP characters are their own thing, and don't use your Shep saves.  I also doubt the game will even be aware of Texmod, which is the other typical way of getting those sorts of effects.

Wow its so pink even the white parts look pink

Never said pink was bad, said bright pink was bad. The kind of pink that makes my eyes bleed. Although to be fair I didn't particularly like the pheonix armor, but I didn't mind it much. Aside from the color it is functional armor, and there must be a reason for it.

Before we knew ashley was a gunnery chief I thought it was biowares way of telling us she was a medic or something.

Indeed. In fact even if you modded the texture files for the multiplayer characters, other players would still see the normal unmodded textures. The only problems I can think of is if origin does something to prevent modding.

See, this is why people pirate.

While I'm sure a reasonable number of people are motivated to pirate due to restrictive policies and DRM, I'm also pretty sure the vast majority do it because they just don't want to pay for stuff.

Well, that too.

Just, you know, ironic that anti-piracy measures actually encourage more piracy since owning a legal copy becomes so damn inconvenient BUT THAT'S NEITHER HERE NOR THERE SOOOO....

Dat armor.  Amirite?

I like the casual outfits. Or rather, I don't mind the blue and white one. But I LOVE the black outfit.
