I've never understood the "boob plastron" style of armor.
The Kestrel in ME2 gets it right.

You can't. They disabled that functionality a ways back (and you had to resort to a trick to make it work before that anyway).

Bioware forums were complaining about Ashley's bodysuit, and that she
didn't have armor? Well, thank goodness, she does. Here it is. Now we
can all go back to being extremely excited about Mass Effect 3! And remember to thank Bioware.

Bigger version from Facebook (right click -> view image)
Looks nice, too.
Just give it a little bit. It'll show up in the screenshots section of the ME3 site.

Looks like Ashley lost some height, why is she so short? Maybe because the screen shot is at an angel?
I don't think she's shorter or anything. Here's another comparison (best I could do; thanks to epoch_ on ImageShack):
Mass Effect 2:

Mass Effect 3:

Looks like she's just about the same height.

The contours of Ashley's suit are definitely different, but the "S1" design inherits from this armor. You know what, taking shadowing into effect it might be about the same. We'll have to see everything in motion to get a better look at everything to be sure.
One undoubtable thing: the shiny new armor shaders in Mass Effect 3 are pretty cool!

This is for female MP human characters. I think 1 armor is used for 2 classes, not sure which classes use KestlerSomeone With Mass wrote...

Looks like only one or two classes are using the Kestrel.
Rest of them are using the standrad armor with some different pieces.
Unless the armor is customizable later on.
