I don't have any issue with any of this, with one possible exception, that ties in with my comments on some of the armor.  Why is it that her top in the lower-left picture almost looks like it was cut and stiched to mold around her bust snugly and exactly?

What would you think of a real-life jacket or shirt that was cut and stiched in such a manner?

I hate those poses.

Liara's poses make her look like a boss while Ash...

Eh.

Just poses though but =/

I wonder if all the characters will get their own personalized idle animations this time?

Frankly, brightly-colored combat armor such as the Phoenix makes no damn sense.  It screams HERE I AM SHOOT ME!

That neon Devlon stuff was worse, though from the descriptions, it came off like it was intended to be used for exploration, not combat.

Several of the poses don't strike me as very Ashley, but I keep reminding myself it's just the costume-designer's artwork, and are there to show off the getups and not necessary convey the character.

Well, Ashley used to stand strangely:

Looks not really comfortable, as for me.

Yeah I always cringe when I see that kind of pose.

Maybe it's just me but my leg gets a crick in it if I stay like that for too long.

it's the BSN. Next thing that'll come up is that the number of eye lashes she had in ME1 has declined in ME3Posted ImagePosted Image

The armor pic pretty much hits all the notes that I expected. If it was good enough for FemShep, it's good enough for Ashley.

I have enough faith that the rest of it about on par with the ME2 N7 armor and if that's what it is, I'm satisfied. Even if it's not heavy armor, the coloring seems more in-line w/ my expectations battle gear. The Phoenix armor, despite being heavy armor, always came across to me as more potentially damaging to the character. Kaidan was wearing Onyx armor, as was Shepard and Jenkins, yet the other Alliance soldiers weren't. Didn't seem right. Then Ashley, the only major female soldier in the game is wearing pink and white. Swap out that pink for a dark red like the Alliance armor concept art and it would have been a winner and went along w/ the color schemes of presented in ME1 (Alliance colors were typically black, grey, white and red).

I think including the new SA color scheme on the Normandy, the shuttles and in both the casual and armor themes for Ashley is a good thing. I hope that's also an option for Vega. Kaidan's already taken care of.

I still absolutely love the black outfit. Boob window (which doesn't reveal much boob at all) actually brings some character to the outfit. I used paint to cover up the boob window (I dont have photoshop) and yeah..it lost some of it's characteristic. It was still interesting, but it was missing something.

Boob window isn't a gigantic window. One thing I love about the outfit most is the attachment on her chest and shoulders. Whatever that's called. It looks fantastic.

What ho, a jacket that makes my boobs look great?

To the store, my comrades, while it's still on sale!

She should always have a pistol at her side (you never know when you will run into some Bad-guys).

I'd make a terrible woman then... I'd be nothing but self-conscious...

I never noticed those little pictures in the middle before. Those drawings are questionable to say the least.

They're typically of any concept in regards to costumes. Open any book on movie costumes and that's the type of poses you'll see.

Now stop whining. PLEASE.

Looks like female Shepards armour. That's a good thing.:wizard:

Well I have no more room for whining. Aside from loose hair isn't a good combat choice. Just saying.:?

I love the colour blue

Yeah.  They're completely un-Ashley, but they're just costume design poses, probably used without thought.

The more I see these artwork - and this is slightly heading off topic - but I think the overall suits are getting too busy.

I'm a comfort over fashion person myself, but one is a fool to pass up hot swag at a good price.

Mind you, my "hot swag" tends to fall somewhere between tree-hugging fortune teller and gothic lite.

With sparkles.

God, I'm tacky.

That's why I say put a Spectre logo over the window and you have a perfect uniform for Ash

That's an interesting way to put it, and I agree.  Ash's outfit is too busy.  Overly designed, too much clashing color.  The black, on the other hand, is simple and elegant.

Some are.  There wasn't a lot of flair to the ME1 gear.  ME2 added in a lot of extra bits and pieces and it looks like ME3 will continue the trend.  Some of it, is perhaps due to Bioware having a better grasp for the console tech they're working with and the limitations they include, as with other developers.

Hell, look at the evolution of armor in other games, Halo included.  Those extra bits make the armor busier, but also add to that "iconic look" that they're looking to put across.
