New armor looks good, better then was at least. Finally i can say "This is an Armor of Battle officer". Previous was.. a latex dancer's suit, but not an Armor. Good changes, Bioware!

Latex? The previous suit really looked like that to you?

Yes and many people agree with me.

Not too much material similarities to me.

Yes, they are not simmilar, but they have a common style. That is what i meant. Their purpose - making boobs and ass bigger, but not protection. It's crazy for me to see a dancer with an assault rifle in one hand and grenade in other. Ashley is a soldier (at least used to be in ME1-2) and she need a soldier armor. Femshep have one, now Williams will have it too. I only wish that Ashley will have her unique armor, but even now it's better than it was.

Well, that's not Ash's armor in the upper image.

The thing I'm still wierded out by in that upper image is how it's seemed and stiched around her breasts.

Maybe someone took her measurements to tailor a perfect suit for her.

Is it crazy for you to a see a giant semi-organic machine race that are insanely intelligent that disappear for 50,000 years and can travel at warp speeds and wipe out entire civilizations of fake aliens?

No? No that's not the crazy part, the crazy part is a female wearing a particular set of clothing. Makes sense.

I sweat to god Ashley's face looks so damn different in ME3! She's nothing like the Ash we knew from ME1 and ME2!

Seriously, I've recently played ME1 (made my first Ash-romance playthrough) and I swear, she looks totally different than in this pic. Not just her hair and outfit, but her entire face is different.

LOL then you and many people are blind.

Ash's "light armor" (or "non-armor") is obviously sturdy leather, or another sturdy fabric. It's NOTHING like latex AT ALL.

When this image first came out (its ancient btw) people complained that she looked too much like Miranda.

When the CE images came out, people said it looked like Ash, but that she had too much make up on.

When the beta leak came out, people complained that Ash was too ugly.

When the armor picture came out, people complained that it was a stripper version of femShep's armor-- despite the fact that its ONE angle and a copy paste of ME2 outfits.

Well...what's next?

I'd guess some combo of kevlar, nomex and other space-agey materials.

Yeah kevlar makes hella sense and actually provides lots of protection.

People on this forum are still under the impression that you need tons of armor to be sufficiently protected against gun bullets. Of course, that's complete bull. Ash's light armor should provide enough protection in most cases, if that suit is indeed made from kevlar. But I really like Ash's heavy armor too.

Did anyone else notice the 'S1' on her armor? If we assume that's according to Alliance standard ranking stuff (Shepard is N7, that is 'special forces, max proficiency') then whatever 's' is (I'd have to start up ME1 to check if that's even defined), she's only proficiency grade one. And yet she's a spectre.

Well maybe in Mass Effect 3 Ashley finally appears the way the developers intended her to appear in the first place. Designing a face and body according to how one intends it is very difficult.

The nose and the eyes are weird. When this picture was released I had no idea who it was supposed to be.

The men who fought in mail or in plate armor were not slowed to the degree that someone could run around and attack them from behind -- to believe such is to believe a foolish modern myth.

If your armor is proof against another man's weapon, and he has no protection against your weapon, you overwhelm him.

If they were chasing an unarmored foe around for a few minutes they might be on the ground. How fast can you run with 80 lbs of steel and gear and for how long?

Yeah who's going to be stupid enough to stand in front of them to be slaughtered? They are no threat whatsoever. They rode horses for a reason.

Fact is they are slower to turn and you could dash forwards (away from them) then back shield side and before they could stop and react boom flank attack.

It most likely stands for Spectre - Rank 1.

I think that is the camera angle and the fact her eyes are focused on something below her with her head tilted slightly downward. Look downwards into a mirror and you look different too. Image IPB

Most likely based on what?  There's no such thing as Spectre ranking that we know of, nor has such a system even been hinted at.
