I'll take "nothing" for $500.
Looks a lot more masculine to me.
It's the same mesh. What's changed is:
a. new lighting system
b. new shaders
c. new textures
Different nose too, don't forget that.
I think I figured out what it is. It's not so much a different nose... but a tweak to it that makes it look different. The top portion of her nose looks like it sticks out farther than before. That, in turn, makes the tip of her nose point more downward rather than straight out. It also makes it look like her eyes are farther back than they really are.

Yes, something about her nose and eyes...just seems off....
And her mouth...maybe because it's cracked open...I don't know.

I'm a fan of the shiny armor. The cross-hatch pattern was okay, but I want SHINY, darn it!
I'm totally stealing the color, too. Sorry Ash/Kaidan, I was a Spectre first. Lol.

I don't get the S1, Ash's vocational code is B4. Not to mention lower numbers mean lower specialization skill...
I'm just glad they got her out of that awful-looking white and pink armor. It always looked like she was wearing an egg to me. And pink just isn't an Ashley color, I just don't get that vibe from her.
Ash who led a small fire team on a peacful colony has probably changed professions from Gunnery Chief of a small peacetime force to something a bit more proactive, hence the change in vocational code. She was already doing recon in non-alliance space, which was far from her old profession.
I see where you're going with that, but that doesn't explain the measly 1 she's got. You'd think a Spectre would have at least a 4 or 5 in their vocational specialization.
Also, I don't see how she didn't cross-train to the N vocational code given what we know about what the VS has been up to since ME1. N is for SpecOps, which is most definitely what she was doing. I always figured "B" was for standard infantry, which wouldn't change if she decided to stay an infantry soldier despite becoming an officer...but that is pure supposition on my part.
I do agree that she probably has gone away from the infantry and has thus probably changed vocational codes, but S1 seems like a rookie code to me...and Ash is anything but a rookie. The only thing I can think of is that the Alliance developed a new vocational code for Spectres, but then why does Shep get to keep N7? Why does the Alliance even need a vocational code for an occupation that consists of only two people? Being military myself, I can't imagine why they'd push that much paperwork just for two people. (Creating occupations in the current military is a pain in the butt, can't imagine why it would be different in the future.)
I don't know, just my curiosity getting the better of me. I'm sure all will be revealed and explained when ME3 comes out. *Sits in a corner and waits impatiently*

Aside from that, we have no knowledge how transfers would work. Also Spectre status would have nothing to do with either.

It's just FemShep armor recolored. I would have preferred if it was a totally unique model.

It could be S1 for "rookie spectre". Which would make sense sort of, if she's just become one.CDRSkyShepard wrote...

I agree, but might as well take this as it is, better than her original ME3 outfit, IMO. There might be another armor selection later on in the game as well, since squadmates are getting mulitple outfits as well, if I remember correctly.

Because that would have gone over oh so well.
And actually Ashley had a unique outfit before the ME3 version. Did anyone come across anyone else wearing Phoenix armor in ME?

Hell no. Miranda's AAP armor looked like sh!t. (And sadly, it was an upgrade to her original armor!)
