I always wondered why dwarves had regional accents.
I hate dwarves.

You might want to, oh, I don't know, actually play through the Orzammar plot before you judge it? Just a thought.
I've never been a fan of dwarves either, but I actually like them in Dragon Age. Giving their city an Aztec feel was awesome, and I for one am SO GLAD that they don't all sound scottish. So cliche that is.
You can't say something that is a stock character or behavior is cliche.... it's like saying a shaolin monk being a Chinese man is cliche... No no, it has to be a African American man because BioWare wants to make their own lore.

Dwarfs are the awesome!
**light Spoiler**
You can't destroy them, but if you hate them that much you will have a chance to make them poorly weak in the long term.

To to the OP, I'm not the biggest fan of dwarves either and often dread dungeon crawls, but found the Deep Roads in Orzammar to be really intense and fun! I wasn't as much a fan of the fed-exing back 'n' forth in the city itself but thought it was a great experience overall (but a bit tedious on repeated playthroughs).
