...require that you play the game online in order to be able to win in the single player campaign. I'm not online and don't feel the need to be. If you are guaranteed to fail the single player campaign by not improving your stats online, then that would really suck...it would smack of just trying to suck more money out of players who just want to complete the game in single player mode.

Read the PC version. It says once you download it and verify you never need to play online again. So console version never "require" you to play online.

It's a single player game...why would it be online? I'm sure that if it was, they would have said so already. It's supposed to be just like the first two games, with an added multiplayer mode that you can choose to play if you want, it in no way effects the actual campaign story. The only online part of the game that has been mentioned is the Multiplayer...and that's kind of a given.

It's getting a little nagging at this point.

All you'll get from the multiplayer is glorified credits you can use in the singleplayer. It's not dependent on the multiplayer at all.

You don't NEED Multi-Player to have an effect in the single player.
Hence Single Player.
It has been stated many times before.
You don't need it to "win" or "lose"
If they change this, I'll never complete the game.
