For future reference regarding custom scripts and how to put them in, if you have any custom On Death or On Spawn scripts for a creature you can store the name of the scripts on the Creature saved as a local string called "DeathScript" for the on death event, and "SpawnScript".
I think there are other ways to link into the scripts, but those are the ones I know about.

M.Rieder.. Sound advice, thank you. But I think I'll be sticking with defaults and what I know for a while until I feel adventurous or have a plan that needs something unusual. But definitely no more dying companions or henchmen from now on.
