I prefer Xbox 360 because I like my Xbox 360 version. PC doesn't feel as natural to me as it does on the Xbox 360.

There is no "best" platform, regardless of what people say. It all comes down to personal opinion.

Xbox360....no real downside really as long as you have the common sense to back up your saves, I have my saves copied to 2 storage devices and my PC....greenlight, get this version.

I think 18 frames per second is a really major downside.

I'd vote PC or 360. I prefer PC for the better eye candy and the minor modding options.

My version never drops that low, on the 360. If it has never noticed it to be that bad.

I personally don't mind Origin. I even registered ME2 to Origin back when it was called EA Download Manager so that if I ever lose the disc I can download the game legally for free. Because of all the criticism against Origin I doubt ME3 will require it for installation. An Origin account may be necessary, but only because we all have them. BioWare accounts are Origin accounts nowadays.

Here you go: www.eurogamer.net/videos/digitalfoundry-mass-effect-frame-rate-analysis

I was talking about the minimum, though I see it sometimes drops even lower.

I beg to disagree....as a fan of the franchise going for a platform than doesn't have ME1 is a preposterous concept to me, PC would be great except EA wants to spy on every aspect of my life and has no hesitation about demanding that I install spyware in order to play a game I already paid for...both of those should be major concerns every single Mass Effect fan. I was fully intending to buy all 3 games for PC as well since I love them on 360 but EA's actions have shut that desire right out of the sky.

Didn't origins TOS change to resemble STEAMs a while ago?

The games have performed flawlessly and looked great on the 360 so I really don't care what numbers are hidden behind it.....besides it can in no way be as bad as spyware or being unable to play ME1.

They made a minor change to the EULA wording to try to make it sound legal for german law after the Battlefield 3 outrage but the program itself has not been changed and still does the exact same thing it's been doing before....scanning everything it can really hard...and EA still has the same rights as before to do whatever it pleases with your info...make profile of you, hand it over to third parties and so on.

I have been going with the 360 version since the first one, but am going to go ahead and get it on PS3 this time. As I just picked up the PS3 version of ME2 for yet another another play through and really like how ME plays with the DS3. It just feels smoother to me.

Played PS3 version at a friend's house but it never felt different in terms of looks and controlls....I only noticed distinct lack of most of the imported choices. I own a PS3 and it's all available on PSN so it would be nothing for me to get it but I just don't see how I could play it without cringing in pain every time something I'm used to is missing.

I played both ME1 and ME2 over 25 times each....the difference in the lack of imported choices on the PS3 is astounding.

I thought Origin only scans and uploads names of folders and files but not its contents. Can anyone show me evidence that claims otherwise?

It does appear ME3 requires installation of Origin as it says so in their list of EULAs. That's disturbing news because it's an unnecessary step between buying and playing the game. The good news is that there will be a crack within days if not hours after release.

I got to choose my main choices from ME1 that I am most concerned with in the Dark Horse interactive comic, so it is not something I have noticed yet. I am mainly concerned with my choices for ME2 being carried over to ME3 anyway, and that will not be an issue this time around because ME2 is on PS3. At any rate, I just prefer the DS3 controller and that is the main reason I'll be making the switch. I just really like how this game feels with it.

Note the "Desired Access: Read Attributes, Read Control,Write DAC......"

A thread fully detailing the EULA and all other issues related to Origin.

ME1 imports DOZENS of choices over to ME2 and the comic gives you a puny four or five? Parasini, Conrad, Shiala, the nosy journalist, several news reports, emails and there were even plenty of imported choices from ME1 that will carry to ME3 that haven't been used yet not to mention above all the ability to play ME1 which is an absolutely amazing game.

Yes, I am aware that ME1 is an amazing game. Luckily, I can play it on my 360. As far as choices go, I said I got to choose the main ones I was concerned with, such as when I chose Ashley over Kaiden, when I killed Wrex, when I let the council die. These were the most pivitol choices for me. If all of the other stuff concerns you, then good for you. Play the game where you will, as it will be a great game either way. I personally just want to switch it over to PS3 now.
