As someone who actually owns a Xbox 360 and a PS3 and have ME2 for both systems I can say that the Xbox 360 version of ME2 is better.
The PS3 version has weird sound problems, sound being either really low quality or playing too soon or too late during cutscenes, graphical anomalies such as stars disappearing in the cutscenes or just complexly spazzing out and flashing back and forth really fast? Oh and theres missing details, such as missing mirrors in the Normandy's captains bathroom or guns not showing up in the armory when you unlock them and most annoying bye far is that weapons you unlock don't carry over to subsequent playthroughs on the same character meaning you have to unlock all the guns over and over again, trust me it gets really annoying.
Oh and the Mass Effect comic does not come on the disc with the game, you have to download it, so if your like me and live in a rural area were there is no decent internet connection your screwed.
On the bright side though, the game comes on 1 disc for PS3 version, so if you hate switching disc the PS3 version is the way to go.
Hopefully I don't come off as Xbox 360 fanboy, I generally prefer the PS3, but its kinda obvious the PS3 version is lacking compared to Xbox 360 version.

There's no console that can replace mouse and keyboard.
Actually both major consoles do it wonderfully. As both are succesful gaming machines.
Obvious anti-console biased post aside, it really depends on what you want from a game. If you just want the story, go with a console, it's cheaper and plays the same game. If you are like me, and want the story and intense action, I would again recommend a console.
But that is more a choice of personal preference. In shooters on the computer, nothing has ever felt urgent or intense. On a console, I'm always leaning forward and making animal-like grunts because it gets so intense. But again, it's more preference.
Now if you want the bleeding edge graphics, sure, sink 1000+ into a computer for that, buy the game, and enjoy it. But how does things looking prettier really improve the gameplay?

The best platform to play on is the one you enjoy the most.

I would also throw in the fact that an increasing number of developers are creating games with consoles in mind FIRST and PCs a distant second ... meaning they are made with a controller in mind rather than a mouse and keyboard.
Most of the time this isn't a problem, but I've noticed that some games like Skyrim or The Force Unleashed II are easier to play using using a controller/gamepad rather than the keyboard and mouse.
I think ME and ME2 are actually a little easier to play with the keyboard and mouse, but you can also do pretty well with a Xbox 360 controller.
Bottom line, I think there are a lot of variables to whether a controller or a keyboard/mouse are better ... it really depends on how the developer crafts the UI.
