Neither Liara,Tali or Mirandafans knew or else the results would be onesided.

Neither did Kaidan fans, it wasn't posted in his thread or his groups.

So obviously this is not a good poll.

BSN needs a five way royal rumble thread consisting of Ashley, Kaidan, Miranda, Liara and Tali.

Where they fight till one fandom Liara is left standing.

Can they all be naked and covered in mud jello while they fight?

Not really. One set of fans doesn't need to bash or trash others for their favorite character to be completely wonderful and worthy of devotion. If I were the only Kaidan fan in the world, it wouldn't make him any less awesome to me, and everyone else is just as entitled to their opinions and preferences. :)

If only. I often feel like I'm the only person on BSN that doesn't have some weird hatred for a character. I really hate it when people hate a character due to said characters fanbase. F*** them, judge the character. The current Tali fanbase for example is nothing like what got her so hated and the term 'Talimancer' is still used in the derogatory manner to try and wind up fans.

Perhaps. But it was the current Tali fanbase that was the most hypocrite when s/s romances were announced which made me wary about them.

I didn't really get involved in those threads. Too much trollin' and crazyness. Honestly I would put the reasoning behind that being that Tali fans are one of the more vocal groups, like many others here & that they don't want the characer ruined if BW doesn't handle the character's development right. A more vocal person is more likely to voice there opinion on a matter they care about.

Because, for some odd reason, to prefer one character seems to mean that others deserve hatred. To love one character means that anyone who doesn't share your (clearly superior and enlightened) opinion, is an utter moron. *rolls eyes*

I like Tali. :)

The only characters I ever had a difficult time liking were Miranda (due to her arrogance before you delve deeper into her issues) and Jacob, because it was hard to get past all his telling FemShep to ****** off. But after I did, I discovered he was a complex and interesting character, and a very satisfying romance.

Vive la difference! Variety is a very good thing. :wizard:

Which is percisely the point lol, don't you see it? Tali fans, were whining the most about 'ruinining' characters because they didn't show interest before. TALI fans.

I must be an idiot, I don't know if you're agreeing or having a light pop back there.. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie] (my superior opinion? I meant no offense...)

I never really liked Liara in ME1, but she has improved and I found I quite liked her after creating a shep specifically to romance her all the way through. And  still find Jacob rather boring but atleast he's loyal and all that jazz.

Yeah, I get it. Hey I'm pro S/S for her by the way. Its just some peoples opinion on a character, like for example I couldn't for the life of me see Garrus being interested in a M/M relationship, but Kaidan, yeah I can definately see that happening. I wouldn't whine and protest if Garrus is bi, actually I wouldn't care cause I wouldn't use it but still. Some people obviously felt that way with Tali. Don't shoot them down so quickly cause they differ in what they expect of a character.

This is getting rather off-topic now..

Whoops! No, that was a general "you", not directed at you personally. I'm sorry for the confusion there. I was actually agreeing with you.
